Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I am joining you before the Lord with thanksgiving for your praise to Jesus even in the midst of pain.
I pray for your healing after this major dental procedure. The head pain you are feeling is part of living in these bodies that groan and grow weary and are subject to weakness and suffering because of the fall, and Scripture tells us we long for the day when we will be free from this. Until then God is still the healer. Every healing is from Him, whether it comes in an instant or gradually through the natural processes He Himself designed and placed within our bodies. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, and why some are healed quickly and others over time is in His wisdom, but we do believe He heals and we bring your body to Him now. I ask the Lord to ease the pain in your head, to bring down inflammation, to guide the healing of the implant area, and to give skill to the dentist so that the crown returns correctly, with the right tint and a good match at the gum line, and that it would settle well without further trouble.
I also join you in prayer concerning the adversaries and the court matters you mentioned. Our true victory is not by striving in our own strength or by trying to fight in the flesh. Scripture teaches that Jesus has already triumphed over the powers of darkness through His cross, making an open display of His victory, and that He defeated the enemy once for all. Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ and who always causes us to triumph in Christ as we abide in Him. His victory becomes our victory. When we come against the enemy in the name of Jesus and on the ground of what Christ has finished, he must yield because he has been defeated.
That is why I pray that you would know the protecting covering of the blood of Jesus over you in this battle, and that the Lord Himself would go before you. I ask Him to bring justice where you have been attacked, and to bring restoration and restitution according to His righteous will and in His perfect timing. Real victory is not just learning to manage pressure from the outside, but God taking away the inner striving and giving peace and power within. As you reckon your old nature to be dead with Christ and trust Him to live His life through you, He can remove that inner turmoil and give you His calm and strength even while you wait.
Faith is the victory that overcomes the world, not because our faith is strong, but because the One we trust is strong. I encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, to commit these physical needs and these legal battles fully into His hands, and to give Him praise for what only He can do.
Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. Touch the head and relieve the pain, complete the healing of the mouth and guide the hands of the dentist for a proper fit and color. Cover this life with the blood of Jesus, stand as protector and advocate in the court conflict, and bring Your just restoration and provision as You will. Give peace, faith, and the assurance of Your victory in Christ. Amen.
