O God, even now..as I look around and see utter destruction, my life looks like the after-math of a nuclear explosion, and I am chained to the center of this desolate landscape.

I want to thank you Lord that you have still kept me alive, I am still sane, even when I have drifted back into the depths of darkest despair and depression, you have been gracious and merciful to restore to me, your peace of mind.

Father I know in my heart of hearts that I will not die, but I will live to testify of your goodness, my Lord. Even when I have been abandoned by all, you still open your warm embrace to me, an abject failure, every gift you have given to me has turned to ash in my hands, I have stumbled countless times, and stayed too long, wallowing in the miry clay, but God in your mercy you have renewed me, washing me yet again, your blood is sufficient for me, even though I can not see the sun raising over the horizon and everything is telling me that this is the end for me.

Lord you alone know what you have in store for me, father I want to thank you that even when my heart was getting hardened against you, because of all that I have been through and all that is still plaguing my life. In your mercy you have forgiven me, my sinful pride and foolishness.

Lord I can not see, but I do not need to because you are seeing for me. By your Grace give me the grace to hold on.

My faith is feeble and I am barely crawling on my knees, but by your grace there is still something there, forgive my unbelief, my doubts, my fears..

Give me the grace to hold on, as I wait on you, may you touch the heart of one of your servants out there to fast and intercede on my behalf, praying with me. 

I have been brought so low, that I am eating out of dumpsters/garbage bins, shamefully late in the night so no one can recognize me.

All my failures and unfulfilled dreams taunting me, my aspirations and hopes, far off over the distant mountains .

Father by your sheer strength you will bring me from this hopeless place. You are the God of impossibility.
