Scapegoating is an insidious, unhealthy, dysfunctional, and prideful tactic. Jesus my friend was treated in this manner early in life and now ### is doing it. I love ### and yet, I found myself on a dizzying roller coaster ride of emotions being ###'s friend. ### wasn't treating me as a friend anymore. I felt I was just there to stroke ###'s ego. ### became upset that I left so now I am blamed for all the recent problems of this friend AFTER I left the friendship. Now I'm forced to bear the burden of shame, guilt, or the consequences for another's offense or irresponsibility. Please break ### away from this bondage in the name of Jesus. Amen
