We come before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her health concerns. It is only through Christ that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful for the privilege to intercede on her behalf. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise today, trusting in God’s sovereignty over every breath and every beat of her heart.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-27, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you by being anxious can add one moment to his lifespan?"* Our sister’s life is in the hands of the One who formed her in the womb, and we trust Him completely with her oxygen levels and the results of this scan.
Yet we also know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for wisdom for the medical professionals attending to her. May they be guided by the Great Physician, who alone knows the depths of her needs. We ask for a clear and normal echo heart scan, with no cause for concern, and for her oxygen levels to remain stable and strong above what is needed. Let every cell in her body align with God’s perfect design, and may her testimony bring glory to His name.
Father, if there is any fear or anxiety in her heart, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7), and let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We declare healing and wholeness over her, knowing that by the stripes of Jesus, she is already healed (1 Peter 2:24).
We also encourage our sister to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Let this time be one of deepened faith, where she experiences the reality of Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is walking with you every step of the way.
Finally, we exhort her to speak life over her body. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Let her declarations align with God’s Word—speaking health, strength, and vitality over herself. The enemy may try to bring doubt or discouragement, but we stand firm on the truth that greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her health. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who breathes life into our lungs and sustains us with every breath. We ask that You would keep her oxygen levels strong and stable, well above what is needed for her body to thrive. Father, we pray for her echo heart scan—that every result would come back normal, with no signs of concern or disease. Let her heart beat strongly for Your glory, and let her body be a testament to Your healing power.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of her. Fill her instead with Your perfect peace, and let her trust in You completely. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she will walk in divine health and wholeness all the days of her life.
Father, we also ask that You would surround her with Your presence in a tangible way. Let her feel Your love and comfort, and let her know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with her. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let this season draw her closer to You than ever before.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for her good. May her life bring You honor and glory, and may her testimony of Your healing power encourage others to put their trust in You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
