Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me as I feel a bit overwhelmed right now with so many things. I'm also being attacked mentally with negative thoughts about church and my church members due to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me most of my life with the intention of driving me into deep unforgiveness. This warfare influences people in my environment to do very negative things to me to try to push me toward unforgiveness and it did so yesterday with some people at church (which happens sometimes; the sad thing is that now even when it doesn't happen, I struggle to interact with people normally in all situations because this warfare has made me afraid of interacting with other people and so used to them attacking me - I feel so weighed down by it and its impact on my life; it also seems that although God has been delivering me from it (and unforgiveness) that Satan is fighting harder against me the more God delivers me) and I am now struggling with intrusive negative thoughts about church and my church members. I'm also feeling overwhelmed because of things going on in America politically and the way that many in the Christian community relate to politics in this country. It is so isolating because for those of us Christians who do not agree with things that certain politicians like Donald Trump are doing in this country, it's like we are ostracized, belittled and attacked - and even told that we are not really Christians. My heart is so grieved by Christians and their interactions with politics these days.

We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in the gap, lifting you up before our Heavenly Father. The weight you carry is heavy—spiritual warfare, isolation, and the overwhelming burden of seeing division even among God’s people. But take heart, for the Lord has not abandoned you, nor has He forgotten the battles you face. We declare with the authority given to us in Jesus’ name that these attacks will not prevail, and that the enemy’s schemes to drive you into unforgiveness, fear, and despair will be crushed under the mighty hand of God.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The negative thoughts, the fear of interaction, the intrusive lies about your church family—these are not from God. The Word tells us, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your heart, and your relationships. We command every spirit of fear, accusation, and unforgiveness to flee in the name of Jesus. You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Your struggle with unforgiveness is a tactic the enemy has used against you for far too long. But we remind you that forgiveness is not a feeling—it is a choice, a command, and an act of obedience to God. Jesus said, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). We know the pain of betrayal and the wounds inflicted by others, but holding onto unforgiveness only gives the enemy a foothold in your life. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart, that you would release these burdens to God, and that He would fill you with His peace and love. The Lord is your vindicator, and He will repay every wrong (Romans 12:19). You do not have to carry the weight of justice—God sees all, and He will make all things right in His time.

The isolation you feel, both in your church and in the broader Christian community, is painful, and we grieve with you. It is heartbreaking to see division among believers, especially when it comes to politics. But we must remember that our ultimate allegiance is to Christ, not to any earthly leader or party. Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my kingdom is not from here" (John 18:36). Our hope is not in politicians or policies, but in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We must not allow earthly divisions to fracture the body of Christ, for we are all one in Him (Galatians 3:28). We pray that God would give you wisdom and discernment as you navigate these tensions, and that He would surround you with like-minded believers who seek unity in Christ above all else.

We also want to address the attacks you face from other Christians who question your faith because of your political views. This is not of God. Jesus warned us that we would be hated by the world, but it is grievous when that hatred comes from within the church. Remember, "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you" (John 15:18). But we must also examine our own hearts—are we allowing political differences to breed bitterness or judgment? The Word tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). We pray that God would heal the divisions in His body and that He would give you grace to extend love and patience to those who may not understand your perspective.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed, attacked, and isolated. Lord, You see the battles they face—spiritual warfare, intrusive thoughts, fear, and the pain of division among Your people. We ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble. We rebuke every spirit of fear, accusation, and unforgiveness that has been assigned against them. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every stronghold in their mind is being torn down by the power of Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We pray for healing in their relationships—both within their church and in the broader Christian community. Lord, soften hearts, bring unity, and help Your people to focus on what unites us: the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We ask that You would deliver them from the weight of unforgiveness. Help them to release every hurt, every betrayal, and every wound into Your hands. Fill them with Your love and grace, that they may extend forgiveness as You have forgiven them. Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate the political tensions in this nation. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Surround them with godly community, and remind them that their identity is found in Christ alone.

Father, we declare that the enemy’s plans will not succeed. You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and we trust that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen them, encourage them, and fill them with Your joy. May they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith. The enemy may fight harder as you draw closer to God, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Seek the Lord daily, immerse yourself in His Word, and surround yourself with believers who will uplift and encourage you. You are not alone in this battle, and the Lord is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into victory.

We know that spiritual warfare is real, and it can be exhausting. But we serve a God who is greater than any enemy we face. We declare that these attacks will not prevail, and that God will crush the enemy's schemes against you.

We want to encourage you to keep forgiving, even when it's hard. Holding onto unforgiveness only gives the enemy a foothold in your life. Trust that God sees all, and He will make all things right in His time.

And about the divisions in the church, it's heartbreaking, but we must remember our ultimate allegiance is to Christ. Let's strive for unity in Him, above all else.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear friend. We're praying for you, that God would fill you with His peace, heal your relationships, and give you wisdom to navigate these tensions. You're not alone, and the Lord is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into victory.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this heavy season. Your honesty about feeling overwhelmed—both by spiritual warfare and the weight of current events—has been on our hearts these past days. We have been lifting you before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of fear, unforgiveness, and isolation that the enemy has tried to wrap around you. We’ve prayed for His peace to guard your mind, for His truth to silence every lie, and for His presence to remind you that you are never alone, even when interactions feel fraught with tension.

We’ve also been interceding for your church community, asking God to soften hearts, to expose any schemes of division, and to restore unity in love. It grieves us to hear how the enemy has twisted even godly relationships into sources of pain, and we’ve asked the Holy Spirit to heal those wounds and rebuild trust. We’ve stood in agreement with you for deliverance, declaring that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that every attack only drives you deeper into God’s refuge.

Regarding the political turmoil, we’ve prayed for wisdom and discernment for you, that you would not be swayed by the voices of this world but anchored in Scripture. We’ve asked God to remind you—and all believers who feel marginalized for their convictions—that our identity is in Christ alone, not in any party or leader. We’ve also lifted up the Church in America, asking for repentance where pride or idolatry has taken root, and for a revival of humility, grace, and Christlike love in our public witness.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers in the past few days—even in small ways—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still feels intense, please know we are not stepping away. We will continue to stand with you, lifting your name before the Father, believing that He is working even when we cannot see it. You are not forgotten, and you are not fighting this alone.

May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May His light expose every darkness, and may His love cast out all fear. We will keep praying until we see His victory in your life. In Jesus’ Name.
