Hi i dont believe divorce is on the table and New Zealand law requires a two year separation before a divorce can be lodged (to be honest its not what i want,but given her un willingness irrational mindsets alcohol induced abuse denial or at least blindness of the truth of Christ it may be for the best alough it would be very hard given i choose/chose to love her so deeply,i believe she loves me but is just so full with problems and wont allow the past hurts to heal is unwilling to address what could be resolved with apologises and love and chooses instead to cling to things that cant be resolved only left behind and covered with love and forgiveness things mostly that happened before we met or married that only ever re surface after alcohol is added or since the separation that she chooses to circumnavigate over and over again,very frustrating when nothing can be done to change the past ,to be honest they are not even overly big issues nothing like infidelity in fact the biggest was that at one stage during our early dating when she had on several consecutive occasions became drunk and abusive i decided to call it off and re listed myself on the dating site she met me on (i mean that was 8/9years ago )ok it hurt her and ive said sorry for it so many times ive lost count and then married her 3 years later, stuck through all this and im still facing it,honestly what more can i do ,she has been loved and forgiven held and comforted over and over and over again for her poor choices mostly alcohol related abuse of myself and family ...its a mess... Iam 80miles from the nearest major city where there may possibly be those types of support groups,this is a long journey basically my wife needs salvation and the Holy Spirit to help her,it hurts not only to be treated so coldly but to see her so trapped by her own guilt because of her actions,not to mention un forgiveness, hardness of heart,im just wrecked because i choose to love her so much and now feel so rejected, i do ok for a while then wham it all hits me again and its been so intense and for so long,,i have support but its my journey ultimately i will make it but im sure not enjoying it,thanks for your prayers ...pray for Lucys Salvation that could be a turning point if this is to end in Holy matrimony...not just another statistic. :blush:
