Overfavoritism of #########

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
The government is overfavoritism of foreigners and allow them to be employed unfairly although they don't have the certificate and necessary skill set but for locals with the certificate and skills became what the company and the government do not want to hire. Created unjust policies to harm the citizens.

We understand your deep frustration and concern over the unjust favoritism shown toward foreigners in employment, while qualified locals are overlooked or rejected. This is a grievous issue that strikes at the heart of fairness, stewardship, and the well-being of families and communities. The Scriptures speak clearly about justice, fairness, and the responsibility of those in authority to govern with integrity. Let us turn to God’s Word for wisdom and guidance in this matter.

The Bible warns against showing partiality or favoritism, especially when it harms the righteous and the deserving. In **Deuteronomy 10:17-18 (WEB)**, we read, *"For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons nor takes reward. He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, in giving him food and clothing."* While God commands us to show kindness to foreigners, this does not mean that locals should be oppressed or that unqualified individuals should be given preference over those who are rightfully skilled and certified. Justice must prevail for *all*—both the foreigner *and* the citizen.

We also see in **Proverbs 29:4 (WEB)**, *"The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down."* When those in authority create unjust policies—whether out of greed, corruption, or misguided ideals—they undermine the stability of the nation and harm its people. This is not only unfair but sinful in the sight of God. Similarly, **Leviticus 19:15 (WEB)** commands, *"You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not favor the poor, nor honor the mighty; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness."* Favoritism, whether toward the powerful or the foreigner, is an affront to God’s standard of righteousness.

We must also remember that our ultimate trust is not in governments or policies but in the Lord, who is sovereign over all. **Psalm 33:12 (WEB)** declares, *"Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance."* When a nation turns away from justice and righteousness, it invites God’s discipline. Yet even in such times, we are called to pray for our leaders and seek God’s intervention.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the injustice and favoritism that has taken root in the policies of our land. Lord, You are a God of justice, and Your Word commands that rulers govern with fairness and integrity. Yet we see qualified citizens—those with skills, certificates, and a rightful claim to employment—being passed over while unqualified foreigners are favored. This is not Your will, O Lord. We ask that You expose the corruption and unjust motives behind these policies. Convict the hearts of those in authority who have allowed greed, bribery, or misguided compassion to blind them to righteousness.

Father, we pray for the citizens who are suffering under this unfairness—those who are struggling to provide for their families, who feel discarded and unvalued. Comfort them, Lord, and open doors of opportunity where none seem to exist. Give them favor in the sight of godly employers who will recognize their worth. Raise up leaders in government and business who will stand for justice and reject partiality.

We also pray for the foreigners who are being hired unjustly. Lord, if they are unaware of the harm this causes, open their eyes to the truth. If they are complicit in deception, bring conviction to their hearts. May no one prosper through unrighteousness, but may all be held to Your standard of honesty and fairness.

Most of all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in our nation. Turn the hearts of our leaders back to You. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24). Give Your people wisdom to navigate these challenges and the courage to speak out against injustice without fear. May this situation not breed bitterness in our hearts but instead drive us to seek You more earnestly, trusting that You will vindicate the righteous.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to change hearts and nations. Amen.

---
To those who are affected by this injustice, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and integrity. Do not allow bitterness to take root in your heart, but instead, let this trial drive you closer to God. Seek His wisdom in how to respond—whether it is through peaceful advocacy, furthering your skills, networking with godly employers, or trusting God to provide in unexpected ways. Remember **Romans 12:19 (WEB)**: *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

If you are a believer, use this time to shine as a light in your workplace and community. Let your excellence, work ethic, and character be a testament to God’s grace, even in the face of unfairness. And if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider that He is the only one who can bring true justice—not just in this life, but for eternity. Without faith in Christ, we have no ultimate hope, for it is only through Him that we can approach God and find true peace (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9).

Stand firm, pray without ceasing, and trust that God sees your struggle. He is not blind to injustice, and He will act in His perfect timing.

Oh, we're so sorry to hear about this injustice. It's heartbreaking to see hardworking locals being overlooked while unqualified foreigners are favored. We stand with you in this, friend. Let's remember that God sees all and He is a God of justice. In Micah 6:8, He tells us, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" Let's pray together:

Lord, we come to You today burdened by the unfairness we see around us. Our government is favoring foreigners over locals, even when locals are more qualified. This is not right, Lord. We ask that You open the eyes of those in power, that they may see the injustice they're causing. Give them hearts that desire fairness and integrity, not corruption or greed.

We also pray for our brothers and sisters who are being overlooked. Comfort them, Lord. Give them strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. Open doors for them where none seem to exist. And for those who are being hired unjustly, Lord, if they're unaware, open their eyes. If they're complicit, bring conviction to their hearts.

Lord, we trust that You see all and You will act in Your perfect timing. Help us to walk in humility and kindness, even in the face of injustice. Give us the courage to speak out against it, without fear. Help us to remember that our ultimate trust is in You, not in governments or policies.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
