Overcoming.

Beloved of All
I just wanted to clarify. I did leave my job abruptly with written notice. However.two years prior I filed written complaint to hr and upper management detailing my experiences with mobbing in the office had a joint meeting with both parties. Afterward the mobbing worsened. I wrote a statement to memorialize rhe retaliation without actually sending it . . When I resigned I included in my resignation letter that I extensively worked with my back up person to review all aspects of that particular program. I waited until the person had been granted full user access to make the necessary updates to clients’ records before I actually resigned. . . . . I wished my colleagues well for their future endeavors. The abused crossed the line into berating me and threatening to fire me for taking the time to care for an incapacitated parent. So I resigned upper management stated they knew about the abuse all along . No one believes my story. I had no other choice after 25 years of service. Father in Jesus name please help me you know that I worked hard but couldn’t endure any longer. You know about the other things that were so vile thet i cent even mention in this request.

We hear your heart and we want you to know we believe you, and more importantly God knows the full truth of what you endured. We thank you for clarifying what happened, and we see the integrity and responsibility you showed even under great pressure. You filed a complaint in the proper way, you endured retaliation, you trained your backup and waited until they had full access to care for clients before you resigned, and you left with grace wishing your colleagues well. That is not abandoning your duty, that is acting honorably when you had been deeply dishonored after ### years of faithful service.

What you describe as mobbing and retaliation is evil, and the Lord does not overlook it. When those in authority knew about the abuse and did nothing, and when you were berated and threatened for caring for your incapacitated parent, that was unjust. Scripture honors what you did in caring for your parent. Exodus 20:12 says Honor your father and your mother, and 1 Timothy 5:8 reminds us that caring for our own family is part of our faith. You chose what was right before God, even at great cost.

It is painful when no one believes your story. We want to remind you that God is your witness and your vindicator. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 37:5-6 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. People may not have validated you, but the Lord saw every meeting, every written complaint, every vile thing you cannot even mention here. He knows and He will judge righteously. Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord.

We also understand why you could not endure any longer. There is no shame in stepping away when abuse crosses the line. Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. You carried a heavy burden for a very long time, and Jesus invites you to bring it to Him now, including the things too vile and painful to put into words. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We encourage you not to let the injustice harden your heart into bitterness. That does not mean what happened was okay or that you must excuse it. It means we release the right to repay into God's hands so that we can be healed. Ephesians 4:32 says Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. We pray you can forgive as Christ has forgiven us, while still trusting God for justice and boundaries. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We join together and pray for you in Jesus name.

Father in Jesus name, we lift up this dear one to You. You know the ### years of hard work and faithfulness. You saw the mobbing, the retaliation, the meeting where truth was ignored, the threats and berating for honoring a parent, and all the vile things that cannot even be spoken here. Lord, You collect every tear and You know every detail. We ask You to bring deep healing to this wounded heart, to quiet the voices that say no one believes me with Your voice that says I have seen and I know. Bring Your rest to this exhausted soul, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and Your vindication in Your perfect time and way. Heal the trauma and the sense of injustice, and guard this heart from bitterness. Provide for every practical need after this resignation, open doors for what is next, whether work or rest or a new season of caring for family, and let it be clear that You are leading. We ask You to restore what was stolen and redeem these years, for You promise in Joel 2:25 that You will restore the years that the locust has eaten. Help our friend to walk in forgiveness while trusting You as the righteous Judge, and to overcome by Your strength day by day. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father and our only hope of salvation, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stay rooted in prayer and the Word, and to seek wise and godly counsel from a trusted pastor or counselor as you process this trauma. Keep bringing every unspoken hurt to Jesus, for He already knows and He cares. Romans 8:28 reminds us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God has not wasted your ### years, and He will not waste this painful ending. He is still writing your story, and He will lead you into overcoming.

We appreciate you taking time to clarify what happened. After twenty five years of service, to experience mobbing, to report it and see it get worse, and then to be berated and threatened for taking time to care for your incapacitated parent is a heavy burden to carry. We hear how responsibly you tried to leave, training your backup, waiting until they had full access to update client records, and wishing colleagues well, even while being told management knew about the abuse all along. It makes sense that feeling disbelieved now hurts so deeply, especially when there are other vile things you cannot even put into words.

Losing a long held job is rarely just about income. It can also mean losing daily relationships, routine, and a sense of being valued and known. When those real losses get mixed with feared losses about the future or what others think of you, the grief can feel even heavier. It can help to gently separate what has actually been lost from what you fear might be lost, without minimizing either. Both matter.

If you do not already have someone walking with you, we encourage you in the coming weeks to lean on one trusted person who feels safe, perhaps a pastor or Christian counselor who can listen at your pace and help you process the painful memories without rushing you. You should not have to carry this alone, especially while caring for your parent.

Father in Jesus name we lift them to you. You see the years of hard work, the hurt that is too deep to speak, and the ache of not being believed. Grant wisdom for next steps, comfort in grief, and strength for each day of caregiving. Surround them with safe and caring people and remind them they are seen and valued by you. In Jesus name, amen.

The sorrow you have poured out here has been heard, and it is not hidden from the Lord who sees in secret. To labour faithfully for twenty five years, to seek remedy by lawful and written complaint, to endure not correction but mobbing and retaliation, and then to be berated and threatened for honouring the duty owed to an incapacitated parent, is a heavy and wounding trial. That you sought to act with integrity to the last, instructing your successor, securing full access for the care of clients records, and wishing your colleagues well, speaks of a conscience that desired to do rightly even while under great pressure. That those set over you should say they knew of the abuse all along and yet left you without defense only deepens the wound, and to feel that no one believes your story is itself a bitter affliction.

Scripture declares, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. There are several forms of a broken heart, and among them are the desertion by fellows, the fickleness of friends, and the betrayal of trust in the very place where one has given the strength of years. Our Lord Jesus Christ knows this sorrow in its fullness. He was betrayed with a kiss, forsaken by those near Him, and in Him prophecy was fulfilled that man sin should reach its culminating point against perfect goodness, that He might become a High Priest able to sympathize with us in every point. He is not a distant observer of your pain. He has entered into it.

Though men may not credit your word, the Lord is witness to all that has been done, and to those other things so vile you cannot even utter them. What is whispered in oppression and what is done behind closed doors is open before Him. He keeps your tears in His bottle and writes your faithful service in His book. Vengeance belongs to Him, and He will in His own time and way bring forth righteousness as the light.

There is healing in Christ, and not only in His great acts but in the very leaves of the tree of life. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves are for the healing of the nations, and for the healing of one wounded soul. Pardon and healing are joined together in Him. When He says, Thy sins are forgiven thee, He also restores and binds up. Come then to Him as you are, sick and wounded and weary, and ask first for that healing of the soul which only His hand can give, and then for the healing of the spirit which has been bruised by long injustice.

Let us pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, who alone is our salvation and our righteousness, look upon this Thy servant who has been worn with long endurance and is now cast down. Thou knowest how hard he laboured and how long he bore it, and why he could endure no longer. Thou knowest the mobbing, the retaliation, the threats, and every vile thing that cannot be spoken. Have mercy and grant healing to the broken heart. Forgive sin as Thou healest sickness, and let the Sun of Righteousness rise with healing in His wings. Vindicate what is true, provide for daily bread, give rest to the conscience, and keep this soul from bitterness. Lift up by Thy hand as Thou didst lift the fevered one, that being healed he may yet serve Thee. Grant peace in the remembrance that Thou believest and Thou wilt not forsake. In Jesus name, Amen.

May the Lord keep you near His Word, where faith comes by hearing, and in quiet waiting give you to prove that even the leaves of Christ are enough to make the soul to live again.
