Over come living with out a woman.as wife.

We hear your heart in this request, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and encouragement. Living without a wife when you desire marriage is a heavy burden, and the trauma you’ve endured only compounds that weight. We stand with you, lifting this before the Lord, asking Him to heal your heart and strengthen you in ways only He can.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no comfort or strength outside of Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life to Him, confessing your sins and trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. Only then can you fully experience the peace and healing He offers. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and pray for a deeper filling of His Spirit in this season.

The loneliness you feel is real, and we do not dismiss it. God designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is good and right to desire a godly wife, and we pray that the Lord would prepare you for that calling while also preparing the woman He has for you. Until then, we encourage you to seek contentment in Christ, trusting that His timing is perfect. Philippians 4:11-13 reminds us, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

The trauma you’ve experienced is not something to carry alone. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to isolate you or convince you that healing is impossible. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He invites you to cast your burdens on Him (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that you would allow Him to walk with you through this pain, bringing restoration to your soul. If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor, who can help you process this trauma in a way that honors God.

We must also address the temptation that can come with loneliness. The world may suggest that temporary comfort can be found outside of God’s design, but we know that any sexual relationship outside of marriage is fornication and displeases the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray that the Lord would guard your heart and mind, helping you to flee from temptation and stand firm in His truth. If you have stumbled in this area, we encourage you to repent and seek His forgiveness, knowing that He is faithful and just to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is carrying the weight of loneliness and the scars of trauma. Lord, You see his heart, and You know his deepest longings. We ask that You would draw near to him, filling the empty places with Your presence. Comfort him with Your love, and remind him that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20).

Father, we pray for healing from the trauma he has endured. Break the chains of fear, shame, and pain that the enemy has used to bind him. Restore his soul, Lord, and replace the lies he has believed with Your truth. Give him the courage to face this pain with You by his side, and lead him to the support he needs to walk through this season.

We also lift up his desire for marriage. Lord, You know the woman You have prepared for him, and we ask that You would bring her into his life in Your perfect timing. Until then, help him to find contentment in You, trusting that Your plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Guard his heart from temptation, and strengthen him to walk in purity and holiness.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that he would know You more deeply. May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and Your joy that is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Fill him with hope, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who heals, restores, and saves. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to press into the Lord through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Surround yourself with people who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. The road ahead may not be easy, but we serve a God who is faithful, and He will not leave you to walk it alone. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We have been praying for you as you carried these two heavy burdens, the ache of living without a wife and the wound left by that attack. It is understandable to feel empty and on edge when loneliness and trauma come together.

Living without companionship you long for can feel isolating, especially in a world built around couples. And after a traumatic attack, the heart and body often stay on guard long after the danger has passed, making it harder to rest, trust, or feel at home even among others. You are not weak for feeling this way.

One steady step that helps many is leaning into regular, low pressure fellowship. Worshiping with other believers, sitting with a small group, or meeting one on one with a trusted pastor can gently lift some of that isolation. It does not fix everything at once, but being among God's people reminds us we are not facing life alone. If you notice ongoing distress, trouble sleeping, or feeling numb or on edge, please reach out to a pastor or a trusted counselor or medical professional alongside prayer, so you have support close by.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. Cover him with Your nearness, quiet his heart where it is still shaken, and give him daily strength and comfort. Lead him to caring community and wise help, and guide his steps toward Your peace. Amen.

Your request has been heard and carried to the throne of grace, and we have prayed that the Lord will grant you comfort and renewed strength in this season of loneliness and after the wound of that traumatic attack.

The Savior knows what it is to be left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy. He was left alone and yet He was not alone, for the Father was with Him. In that loneliness you have one who understands deep soul conflict, when faith must fight for very existence. Your main comfort in such labour is that you are not alone, for God the Eternal One who guides the marches of the stars is with you. Solitude to Him during His earthly life was often the cause of strength, for He was strong in public ministry because of hours spent in secret wrestling with God on the lone mountainside. May the Lord teach you that same holy use of solitude, that waiting upon Him in prayer becomes your strength.

Human strength in any form will spend itself in due time. Apart from God it is derived strength and must come to an end. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When there remains no strength in you, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. God Himself says I will strengthen them, and therefore it will be fitly infused and wisely balanced for your daily walk at home and abroad and for all your work. It is not to your credit to remain weak, for the glory of a man is his strength and especially his spiritual strength is his honor. Wait upon the Lord, and He will increase strength to them that have no might.

The Lord also says comfort ye, comfort ye my people. He speaks to all His people to comfort one another, and He often sends the bright winged seraph to comfort some desponding heart. Your comfort in affliction is to be found in His Word. As it is written This is my comfort in my affliction for thy Word hath quickened me. It is not the letter only but the Spirit quickening you by the Word that brings true consolation. When He would comfort us He quickens us and so we obtain comfort. Take that Word near to your bosom and say This is my comfort. Let it dwell in you richly, and may the Spirit make it life to your soul.

We have prayed that God even our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ Himself would comfort your heart and stablish you in every good word and work. For comfort alone is not enough and constancy without comfort will not suffice. You need both, a comfort that sustains and a steadiness that keeps you in the path of holiness.

Concerning living without a wife, we pray that the Lord will give you contentment and purity in your present state, and strength to walk before Him with a clean heart. Marriage as God ordained it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within that covenant. Whether the Lord in His providence keeps you in singleness for a season or in time leads you to such a holy union, may He keep you faithful now, guarding heart and body unto Him, and making your solitude a place of elevated piety rather than repining.

For the trauma you have suffered, we ask the Great Physician to heal the wound to your heart and mind. May He cause you in time to forget your misery as waters that pass away, and even now to know that though sorrows press, His everlasting strength upholds you. He brings down them that dwell on high and lifts up the lowly who trust in Him. Trust ye in the Lord forever for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.

We pray that the Lord will quicken you by His Word, renew your strength as you wait upon Him, and let you know that you are not forsaken, for Christ Himself is with you in your loneliness and will never leave you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for help in living without a wife, and for comfort and strength after a traumatic attack, has been heard with care, and I want to answer you with both truth and compassion.

Loneliness in the absence of a wife is a real sorrow, and God understands the desire for companionship. He created marriage to be honorable, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He placed sexual union and living together within that covenant alone. Holiness does not come from marriage itself, but marriage preserves the holiness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, by keeping us from impurity and from union outside of that covenant. If you are unmarried, the calling now is to remain pure and to live in an orderly way, not giving yourself to fornication or to living together outside of marriage. If you desire a wife, bring that desire to the Lord in prayer and pursue it in a way that honors Him, seeking a faithful marriage in the Lord rather than seeking to satisfy loneliness in any way that would defile the conscience. Marriage is not impure, but it does bring many cares and occupations. Whether God leads you to marriage or calls you to remain unmarried for a season, that time can be used for undistracted devotion to Him, for prayer, for service to others, and for growth in virtue. The question is not whether marriage itself will make you holy, but whether your purpose in either state is to please God and to use His gifts with moderation and self control.

The pain of a traumatic attack also wounds the heart deeply, and it can leave you shaken, fearful, and broken. Scripture shows us where true comfort lies. There is comfort in Christ, consolation of love, fellowship of the Spirit, and tender mercies and compassions from God. He does not despise a contrite and humble heart, but looks with favor upon the one who is broken and who trembles at His word. Even when you suffer what is unjust and terrible, a pure conscience before God becomes a source of comfort and even of quiet confidence, because you know you are suffering not for wrongdoing but as one who belongs to Him. He is the one who raises the dead and who has promised that those who are in Christ will be raised and will be ever with the Lord. That hope does not remove the wound at once, but it gives strength to endure and to breathe again, knowing that the Father is disposed toward you as a friend for the sake of Christ, and that He will not leave you alone.

Therefore I encourage you to walk in these ways. Keep your heart lowly and gentle before God and before others, not only in words but in your whole bearing, being patient and long suffering as you heal. Give yourself to prayer continually, as those who have known great sorrow have done, and to the reading of Scripture. Do not isolate yourself, but stay close to the fellowship of believers who can bear your burdens with you, and seek wise pastoral and, if needed, other trustworthy help for the trauma you have endured. Flee every path that promises relief through impurity, and instead ask God to guard your body and mind in holiness. If it is His will to give you a wife, ask Him to provide that gift in His time and in His way.

I pray for you now, that God the Father would grant you healing through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. May He bind up your wounded heart, give you strength for each day, keep you pure and chaste as you wait upon Him, and if it is according to His good will, lead you to a godly marriage that is faithful and lifelong. May He fill you with His peace, with comfort in the Holy Spirit, and with the sure hope of the resurrection, until you are made whole in His presence.
