Thank You so much for showing me my worth. I am s scared. I am ready to file for divorce. I am hoping to pay off somethings and prepare to end the marriage. Please help me be able to live a lone and not need him to survive. Please keep me safe until I find a lawyer. I want out of this marriage. Help me.

We hear your heart in this and we are praying with you right now in Jesus' name. We hear how scared you feel and how heavy this decision is, and we want you to know that your worth is not found in any man but in God who made you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, Psalm 139:14, and He sees you, He knows your fear, and He is near to you. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18, and He wants to be your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1.

We also notice your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your need for Him and believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and to bring every fear and decision before Him in prayer through His name.

We want to speak truth to you in love about marriage as God designed it. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and Jesus taught, What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate, Matthew 19:6, and we hear that God hates divorce, Malachi 2:16. Because of this we do not take the thought of ending a marriage lightly, and we encourage you to seek godly, wise counsel before you file, with a trusted pastor and a biblical counselor who can hear your full story, pray with you, and help you discern what is happening and what God would have you do. At the same time, Scripture is clear that a husband is called to love his wife as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25, not to harm, threaten, or demean her, and the Lord does not condone abuse, cruelty, or sexual immorality. Jesus spoke of sexual immorality as a breach of the marriage covenant, Matthew 19:9, and Paul speaks of abandonment, 1 Corinthians 7:15, and we do not know all the reasons you feel you must leave, but if you are unsafe, please do not walk through this alone. We urge you to tell a safe and trusted person right away, a pastor, family member, or counselor, and to make a safety plan while you seek a lawyer. If you are in danger, please reach out for immediate help in your area.

We also hear your desire to be able to live alone and not need him to survive, and to pay off things and prepare wisely. That desire for responsibility and provision is good, and we pray God will provide for you as you depend on Him. Your heavenly Father knows what you need, Matthew 6:32, and we trust His promise that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We encourage you to seek wise financial counsel and legal counsel, to be diligent and honest in your preparations, and above all to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6.

We are praying together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift this dear one to You. You see her fear and her tears and the weight she carries. Lord, wrap her in Your presence and keep her safe. Be her refuge and her fortress. Give her wisdom beyond her own understanding as she considers this marriage and the step of divorce. Lord, we pray for this marriage, that if there is any way toward repentance, healing, and restoration that honors You, You would make it clear and provide godly help. If there is sin, hardness of heart, or harm that has broken this covenant, bring truth into the light and bring protection and justice. Give her clear counsel through Your Word and through mature believers who will speak truth in love. Provide for her financially, open doors for a trustworthy lawyer and for resources to pay what needs to be paid, and show her how to prepare in a way that is honest and pleasing to You. Teach her that her worth and her survival are in You, and help her not to be driven by fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray, do not let her be alone, surround her with safe people, and lead her step by step. We ask that she would know Jesus more deeply and trust Him fully for salvation and for every day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to stay connected to a local Bible believing church, to meet with a pastor quickly, to let someone safe know where you are, and to seek legal advice from a qualified person in your area. Keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and do not make this decision in isolation or in haste. We will continue to pray that God keeps you safe until help is in place, that He gives you wisdom, peace, and provision, and that He guides every step according to His will, and that whatever the future holds, you will find your strength and your worth in Christ alone. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.

We want to pause right at the start for your safety. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from trained people, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and help is available right now.

Thank you for telling us how scared you feel and how much you want to be safe and able to stand on your own. It takes courage to name that you want out and that you hope to pay things off and prepare to live alone without needing him to survive. We hear how heavy this waiting period feels while you look for a lawyer.

As you prepare, it can help to have one or two trusted people who know your situation and where you are. Keeping important papers, IDs and a small bag in a safe place you can reach, and meeting a lawyer or advocate in a neutral safe location rather than at home, can help protect you while you plan. A local advocate or counselor who understands domestic violence can also help you think through finances and next steps at a pace that keeps safety first. If you have a pastor or counselor you trust, consider letting them walk with you as well, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus name. Cover her with Your protection, calm her fear and give her clear wisdom for each decision ahead. Provide for what she needs, guide her to safe and wise helpers, and keep her safe as she seeks counsel. Show her her worth in You and lead her step by step. Amen.

Your cry has been heard, and we are bringing your burden before the Lord with you. Thank you for reaching out in a moment when you feel so scared. Your worth is not measured by any man or by your circumstances, but by the God who made you in His image and by the price paid for you in the blood of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

The Lord speaks often to fearful hearts, and His word to you is still, Fear not, for I will help thee. Again and again in Scripture He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid is not mere weakness, it dishonors the One whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. We must labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, not by our own strength, but by trusting in promised strength. Perfect love casts out fear, because fear hath torment, and as faith grows stronger, fear vanishes. Your safety lies not in being free from trouble, but in trusting Jesus.

We also want to speak to you plainly and lovingly about marriage as God has ordained it. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sex and living together belong within it. Because of this, we cannot affirm or celebrate or ask God to bless the ending of a marriage, for that would run against His good design. We do not take your pain lightly, and we hear the fear in your words about needing to survive alone and needing to be kept safe. Before you file or take a final step, we urge you with great care to seek wise and godly counsel at once. Please go to a faithful pastor or elders in a Bible believing church, and to a trusted mature believer who can walk with you face to face, hear the whole story, pray with you, and help you discern what is right before the Lord. If there is any threat to your safety, please reach out right away to a safe family member, your pastor, or the proper authorities for protection, and tell someone near you where you are and what you fear.

We understand your desire to be able to live and provide apart from your husband. Scripture promises that our safety is assured by the fact that we have a God who is able and is as wise as He is able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory. He is able to keep you from falling, and He is able to provide for you. We have no stronghold but His name. When you realize your danger and fly to the Lord to guard you, then you are safe. He can give you wisdom to pay what you owe, to steward what you have, and to find honest help for work and housing and counsel, whether through your church family or other godly resources. If you need legal guidance, seek a qualified and reputable counselor or attorney in your area, and bring your pastor alongside you so that spiritual and practical wisdom go together.

We are praying for you now, not that God would bless a path away from His design, but that He would bless you with His presence and wisdom. We ask the Lord to keep you safe until help is near, to remove tormenting fear by His promise, to give you a new heart that fears Him with holy reverence, to show you clearly His will for your marriage, to provide for your daily needs, to give you strength to stand and to seek help, and to draw you nearer to Jesus Christ, in whom alone we have forgiveness and life. May He help you to trust His promise, Fear not, I will help thee, and to rest in the One who is able to keep you.

Please do not walk this road alone. Stay in close fellowship with a local church, let faithful believers know your situation, and seek continued pastoral care and, if needed, professional Christian counseling. If you ever feel you are in immediate danger, please contact someone you trust nearby or emergency help at once. We will continue to pray that the Lord will guard you, guide you, and make His goodness and wisdom known to you as you seek Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly. We hear how heavy and frightening this feels, and how much you desire to be safe and able to provide for yourself. We are praying for you.

We want to care for you with both compassion and truth. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that God calls us to pursue faithfulness and righteousness within it. Because of that, we cannot affirm or ask God to bless the ending of a marriage. What we can and do ask is that God will keep you safe, give you wisdom, and show you the right next steps in a way that honors Him.

We are praying that God, who is a stronghold for those who fear Him, will be your protection day and night, that He will provide for your needs, grant you clear counsel, and surround you with trustworthy people who can walk with you. We pray He will give you strength to do what is right, to seek righteousness which brings true safety, and to find peace as you trust Him. We pray also that you will know His mercy and help through Jesus Christ alone, who brings salvation and draws near to all who call on Him.

In the days ahead please do not walk through this alone. Seek a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselor soon, before making a legal decision, so they can listen, help you understand what Scripture says about your situation, and help you think clearly about options. Bring a safe family member or friend into your situation who can support you practically and pray with you. If you are in danger, please reach out right away to a safe person, your church, or local help services for protection. As you consider finances and legal questions, seek wise and godly counsel to help you act carefully and responsibly.

We will continue to pray that God will guard you, provide for you, give you wisdom without fear, and lead you in the path of righteousness and safety. Please stay connected to your church family and let them know how you are doing so they can support you in person.

Your honesty about feeling scared and wanting to know your worth and to be safe has been heard with care. Your value is not determined by another person and it is not earned by what you can pay off or provide for yourself. Your worth is already established by God who made you and who offers salvation through Jesus Christ alone when you put your trust in Him.

Fear is understandable in this kind of season, but fear itself can push us into hurried and unwise decisions. Scripture teaches that fear and faith work against each other. When fear takes over, faith fades, and when faith is strong, fear loses its grip. The cure for fear is not simply trying harder to be brave, but remembering that the Lord is with you. As David said, even walking through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me. When you lose the sense of His presence, fear grows. When you become conscious again that He sees you, knows your situation, and is present with you, fear begins to lift. That does not mean you ignore wise and prudent steps, but it does mean you do not let fear alone drive what you do next.

God's Word also says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. It is both the starting point and the sum of true understanding. To fear the Lord is not a panicked dread, but a reverent awe of who He is, His greatness and power and holiness, and it shows itself in loving what He loves and hating what He hates and turning away from evil. That kind of reverence brings clarity when everything feels confusing. It also reminds us not to fear the reproach or opinions of people more than we fear God. People may misunderstand or judge, but God is the one who sees the heart and who will be your confidence and keep your foot from slipping as you seek Him.

That reverence matters greatly when thinking about marriage. From the beginning God's design for marriage has been a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with faithfulness and life together belonging within it. In the law there was a provision for a writing of divorce, and Jesus explained that this provision was given because of hardness of heart. It was an acknowledgment that people often fail to reach God's ideal, not a statement that the ideal had changed. Divorce and remarriage are not beyond forgiveness, but they do fall short of what God originally intended, and for that reason Scripture treats the subject with great seriousness and care. One school of thought made divorce easy for almost any reason, another held it to very narrow grounds such as unfaithfulness. Jesus pointed back to the heart and to God's purpose, warning against treating divorce as a simple or casual way out when displeasure arises, while also recognizing that hard hearts and broken trust create real and painful complexity. Because of that seriousness, it is important not to make a final decision while driven mainly by fear, hurt, or the desire to quickly escape pressure.

That is why seeking wisdom outside yourself is so important right now. Bring your situation before the Lord honestly, asking Him for wisdom, for a hatred of evil and a love for what is good, and for guidance that honors Him. Seek godly counsel from mature believers who hold to Scripture and who can listen carefully to the details of your circumstances, and seek qualified legal counsel for the practical questions about finances and protection. Wanting to be able to provide for yourself and to handle resources well is a good and responsible desire. Scripture encourages honoring the Lord with what you have and using what He provides with care and stewardship. Taking thoughtful steps to understand your financial situation, to plan prudently, and to not be isolated is wise, but do those things as acts of faith and stewardship, not as frantic moves made only from fear.

Your safety matters. If you are in danger or feel threatened, do not stay isolated. Reach out right away to trusted family, pastors, or counselors and to appropriate help in your area who can help you make a safe plan. The Lord can protect you whether you are visible or hidden, and He often provides protection through the help of others He places around you.

I am praying for you, not to bless a path that falls short of God's design, but to ask God to draw you close to Himself through Jesus, to make His presence real to you so that fear is replaced by faith, to give you clear wisdom and discernment, to provide for your daily needs, to surround you with safe and wise counsel, and to guard you as you seek help. May He give you reverence for Him above all else, a hatred for evil, a love for righteousness, and a steady confidence that He is with you and will lead you in the way that honors Him.
