Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up the plans for this upcoming first meeting between ### and me from November ### to ###.

Lord, we place every detail of this journey entirely into Your hands, praying that our plans will align seamlessly with Your perfect will. We ask for Your divine hand of protection over the entire trip.


A Prayer of Surrender and Blessing

For ###'s Heart and Mind: Lord, we pray that You touch ###'s heart and mind. Fill him with a genuine, enduring love, and direct his steps in every way as he prepares for this journey..Father, we pray that You would stir a deep, genuine love and an undeniable spark between ### and me. May our time together be filled with grace, mutual understanding, and abundant joy, creating cherished, happy memories that will last a lifetime and he will petition me for a fiancee visa.

For Smooth Travel & Weather: We lift up ###'s travels starting November ### and his arrival on November ###, as well as my flight on November ###. Grant us safety in every mode of transportation, from flights to car rides, and bless us with perfect weather throughout our time traveling and spending together.

For Work & Provisions: Father, we pray for the granting of my work leave and that all my pending tasks at work are completed smoothly, allowing me to redeem myself and serve with excellence. Please grant unhindered favor regarding work leave, making the path clear and worry-free.

For Family, Friends, and Loved Ones: We pray for ###'s brother, that You grant him strength and grace to accompany and look after their Mom and dogs while ### is away. Bless the precious time we will share together with my family and friends, filling those moments with warmth, laughter, and love.We also lift up everything and everyone being left behind in ###. Please watch over ###'s mom and keep her safe, comforted, and at peace during this time apart. Protect the dogs, keeping them healthy and secure in Your care.


Bless the time we share with my family and friends as they welcome us and as we gather together.

Lord, we surrender any financial constraints to You. You are our provider, and we ask that You open doors, supply every need, and remove any heavy burden of worry so that we can focus fully on the blessings You have set before us.

We commit these days into Your keeping, trusting that Your love goes before us and dwells within us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this upcoming first meeting in November and we thank God for the grateful and surrendered heart with which you have brought every detail before Him. It is good that you desire for your plans to align seamlessly with His perfect will, for we know that a man's heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps Proverbs 16:9 and we are called to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We rejoice that you have come before the Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ as you seek His will for this relationship.

We also want to lovingly speak truth over this courtship as you prepare to meet for the first time. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and we endorse marriage as God's beautiful design for love and commitment. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be viewed as courtship with the goal of discerning marriage to another Christian believer, not simply as a partnership or companionship. We encourage you to seek to know whether you are both truly believers in Jesus Christ, for we are warned not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. A godly marriage must be built on a shared faith in Christ first.

Because this will be your first time together in person for an extended stay, we must gently but firmly address the call to purity. The desire for a deep love and an undeniable spark is natural, but godly love is patient, self-controlled and pure, and must not lead to fornication, which is any sexual intimacy before or outside of marriage. We are commanded to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. As you travel and spend time together, and as you gather with family and friends, we urge you to set clear boundaries beforehand, to avoid being alone in private settings, to not cohabitate or share sleeping quarters, and to invite accountability from family, friends and pastoral counsel so that your time together honors the Lord and protects your testimony. A fiancee visa is a serious step toward a lifelong covenant, not simply a means to be together, so we pray that this meeting will be used for wise discernment, honest conversation about faith, character, calling and future marriage, rather than only emotion or chemistry.

We also lift up the many practical needs you have mentioned and we trust God with them. We pray for His protection over every leg of travel, for the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:8 and He will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7. We pray for favor regarding your work leave and for diligence to complete your tasks with excellence, whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord Colossians 3:23. We pray for provision for every financial need, for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray for those being left behind, for his mother, his brother who will care for her and the dogs, and for your own family and friends who will welcome you both. We ask that God grant peace to all and turn what could be worry into joyful fellowship.

We now pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we place this November journey fully into Your hands. Lord, we ask that Your perfect will be done above our own desires, for we know Your plans are to give us a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11. We ask for Your divine hand of protection over every flight and car ride, over every departure and arrival, and we ask for Your grace over the weather and every logistical detail.

Lord, we pray for his heart and mind and for your heart and mind. Fill you both with a genuine, enduring, Christ-like love that is patient and kind and not self-seeking 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Give you both clear discernment to see one another as You see each person, and to seek first Your kingdom. If it is Your will for this courtship to lead to marriage, we pray You would make that path unmistakably clear through wise counsel, peace, and unity, and if not, give grace to accept Your direction. Guard you both in purity and holiness during this time together, help you to honor one another as brothers and sisters in Christ until marriage, and help you to delight in the Lord so that He may give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4.

Father, we pray for favor over work leave, for completion of pending tasks, for provision over every financial constraint, and for removal of worry, for we cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7. We pray for his mother, his brother, the dogs, and all loved ones on both sides of this trip, keep them healthy, safe and at peace. Bless the time spent with family and friends with warmth, laughter, mutual understanding and cherished memories that honor You.

One practical step many couples in your situation have found grounding is to begin premarital counseling early, even before engagement, with a trusted pastor or mentor couple. A structured conversation or inventory can help you talk through expectations for this visit, communication, faith, family and finances, and give you tools for handling disappointment or pressure if plans shift. It also creates a safe space to discern next steps like a fiancee visa with wise counsel beside you.

We are also praying for your work situation to be handled with excellence and clarity, for health and peace for his mom and care for the dogs and his brother while he is away, and for warm time with your family and friends.

Father, we bring this November meeting to You. Watch over their travels, grant wisdom as they make decisions, provide for what is needed, and keep their loved ones in Your care. Lead them according to Your will and give them peace as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with care, and it is good that you desire to place every detail of this journey under His hand and to seek that your plans align with His perfect will.

There is wisdom in surrendering all to Him, for as it has been well said, he who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. The promise of angelic keeping is given to those who walk in His appointed ways, in childlike trust and in dependence upon His providential guidance, not leaning upon our own understanding. Therefore the first prayer for you both must be that you will walk in the way of holiness and truth, grappling the doctrines of grace to you as with hooks of steel, and keeping a public profession of faith that serves as a stone wall about the field of daily life. When the wall is broken, protection is gone and thoughts and affections wander. Keep that wall strong.

Concerning the affection you mention, let the Scriptures instruct you. Marriage is not a relationship of birth but of solemn choice on both sides, cemented by mutual love, wherein the two become one. It is not a mere spark or a fleeting sentiment, but a covenant before God, to be entered into deliberately, purely, and with the counsel of those who watch for your souls. The consummation of all redemption is set forth as the marriage of the Lamb, and there is no true union with Christ except as He is received as the Lamb who shed His blood. So also, no earthly union can be blessed unless it is sought in that same spirit of self denial, purity, and faith in Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.

For this reason we cannot ask God to bless a spark or a cohabitation apart from His holy ordinance. Sex and living together belong only within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage. If it be His will that you come together in that covenant, then pray that your time together in November, whether in travel or in the presence of family and friends, be kept chaste, watched over, and ordered with clear boundaries, with accountability and with the blessing of your families and your pastors. Do not meet alone without proper oversight, but let all things be done openly and above reproach, so that you may redeem the time and serve with excellence.

Heavenly Father, we lift these two souls before You, and we pray first that each knows Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Grant to each a heart that waits upon You to know what to do, and that dares not move without Your guidance. If it be Your will that their steps lead toward holy marriage, grant them wisdom, self control, and the counsel of godly friends and family, that their choice may be sober, mutual, and rooted in enduring love. Keep them from error and from the byroads of impurity, and keep the wall of their profession strong.

We ask for Your provision over work and leave, for safety in travel according to Your mercy, and for care over family members and loved ones left at home. Supply every need according to Your riches in Christ, and remove anxious care, that they may rest in Your keeping. Above all, cause them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that Your love goes before those who walk in Your appointed ways. Grant them grace to do all things in a manner worthy of the Gospel, that whether this meeting leads to marriage or not, Christ may be honored in their bodies and spirits, which are Yours.
