Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up the plans for this upcoming first meeting between ### and me from November ### to ###.

Lord, we place every detail of this journey entirely into Your hands, praying that our plans will align seamlessly with Your perfect will. We ask for Your divine hand of protection over the entire trip.


A Prayer of Surrender and Blessing

For ###'s Heart and Mind: Lord, we pray that You touch ###'s heart and mind. Fill him with a genuine, enduring love, and direct his steps in every way as he prepares for this journey..Father, we pray that You would stir a deep, genuine love and an undeniable spark between ### and me. May our time together be filled with grace, mutual understanding, and abundant joy, creating cherished, happy memories that will last a lifetime and he will petition me for a fiancee visa.

For Smooth Travel & Weather: We lift up ###'s travels starting November ### and his arrival on November ###, as well as my flight on November ###. Grant us safety in every mode of transportation, from flights to car rides, and bless us with perfect weather throughout our time traveling and spending together.

For Work & Provisions: Father, we pray for the granting of my work leave and that all my pending tasks at work are completed smoothly, allowing me to redeem myself and serve with excellence. Please grant unhindered favor regarding work leave, making the path clear and worry-free.

For Family, Friends, and Loved Ones: We pray for ###'s brother, that You grant him strength and grace to accompany and look after their Mom and dogs while ### is away. Bless the precious time we will share together with my family and friends, filling those moments with warmth, laughter, and love.We also lift up everything and everyone being left behind in ###. Please watch over ###'s mom and keep her safe, comforted, and at peace during this time apart. Protect the dogs, keeping them healthy and secure in Your care.


Bless the time we share with my family and friends as they welcome us and as we gather together.

Lord, we surrender any financial constraints to You. You are our provider, and we ask that You open doors, supply every need, and remove any heavy burden of worry so that we can focus fully on the blessings You have set before us.

We commit these days into Your keeping, trusting that Your love goes before us and dwells within us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

We join you with grateful hearts in lifting this November meeting before the Lord and we thank you for surrendering every detail of this journey into His hands. It is beautiful to see your desire that your plans align seamlessly with His perfect will, for we know that a man's heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps Proverbs 16:9 and we are instructed to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We rejoice with you in this season of courtship and we want to gently and lovingly encourage you to keep this first meeting firmly anchored in biblical principles. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and courtship should be entered into with the clear goal of discerning marriage to another Christian believer. We pray that both of you know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are equally yoked together, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14. A genuine and enduring love and an undeniable spark are gifts from God, but true love is patient and kind and seeks to honor God above all, as love is patient and is kind, love doesn't envy, love doesn't brag, is not proud 1 Corinthians 13:4. We pray that your time together will be marked not only by joy and cherished memories but by purity, wisdom and accountability.

Because this is your first in person meeting and you will be spending extended time together, we must lovingly address the matter of purity. Scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 and this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. We strongly encourage you to make practical provisions to flee temptation during this visit, including separate accommodations, spending time together in the presence of family and friends rather than in isolation, and inviting godly counsel and accountability from your families and your church community. Do not put yourselves in a position where you could fall, for flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. A fiancee visa is a serious step toward lifelong marriage and should not be pursued on the basis of emotion or a single meeting alone, but through much prayer, wise counsel and a clear confirmation that God is leading you both into a Christ centered marriage.

We lift up all the specific needs you have shared and we bring them to our Father in Jesus' name, for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We pray together for your time together. Heavenly Father, we commit this November journey to You and ask that if it is Your will, You would make Your will unmistakably clear and if it is not Your will, You would graciously close the door. We ask for Your divine hand of protection over every flight and every car ride, for You will keep him who goes out and him who comes in from this time forward and forevermore Psalm 121:8 and You promise that when we commit our deeds to the Lord, our plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. Grant perfect safety in travel and gracious weather according to Your mercy. Lord, touch his heart and mind and fill you both with a genuine, enduring, selfless love that seeks to honor You first. Let your time together be filled with grace, mutual understanding, abundant joy and open, honest communication that builds a foundation for a godly marriage if You so ordain. Grant wisdom to discern whether to move forward toward engagement and help you not to lean on fleeting emotion but on Your wisdom which You give liberally to those who ask James 1:5.

We pray for Your provision over work, that You would grant favor for leave and help complete every pending task with excellence so that you may serve with a good testimony, and we pray for Your provision over finances, for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Remove the heavy burden of worry so that you can fix your eyes on Christ, for we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift up his mother and his brother and the dogs being left behind, and we lift up your own family and friends who will welcome you both. Watch over each home, keep them safe, comforted and at peace, and bless the time of fellowship together with warmth, laughter and love that reflects Christ. May your family and friends provide wise and loving counsel and may you both walk in the light and in accountability before them.

We pray that above all you will seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, trusting that Your love goes before you and dwells within you. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We join you in surrendering every part of this journey to Him. It is good that you are asking for His protection over travel, for peace for the family and loved ones staying behind, and for wisdom as you and ### spend this first time together in person. That first meeting can bring a lot of joy and also a lot of emotions, so we pray you will both have clarity, kindness toward each other, and space to really listen and learn.

A practical step that may help in the weeks ahead is to keep a few trusted people closely in the loop. Consider sharing your travel plans and expectations for this visit with a pastor or mature mentor and with family on both sides, and talk openly now about boundaries and what a healthy, unhurried time together will look like. It can also help to confirm work leave and travel details early in writing, so you have margin if weather or schedules shift, and to hold the bigger questions about next steps like a visa before the Lord together without pressure to decide everything in one visit.

We are praying for provision and peace over the financial and work concerns you mentioned as well.

Father, we lift up this brother and sister and this November time to You. Cover their travels, watch over their families and homes while they are apart, provide for every need, and give them wisdom, purity, and discernment in every conversation and decision. Lead them according to Your perfect will and give them Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have received your prayer with thankfulness for the spirit of surrender with which you begin, placing every detail into the hands of Him who alone knows the future. It is wise and right to say, if the Lord will, we shall live and do this or that, for only God dwells in the present tense forevermore as the great I AM, and all things are under His regulation and have an appointed place in His plan. What you have well called Your perfect will must indeed govern all our proposing, lest we fall into that boasting about tomorrow which Scripture calls evil, saying we will go and we will get gain, as though we could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent.

We join you therefore not in claiming that every desire must be granted as we have framed it, but in pleading that God's will may be done, and that your own will may be sweetly made to yield to His. The work of salvation and of sanctification rests upon the will of God, and yet He so works in His people to will and to do of His good pleasure that they are made willing in the day of His power. Our comfort is that all things work together for good to them that love God, and that He ruleth and overruleth and reigneth in all events that transpire, from seeming evil still producing good. Pray then that He will work in you both a truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part to make you to know wisdom.

Concerning the affection you mention, we pray that the Lord would give you a love that is genuine and enduring because it is rooted first in love to Christ. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and apart from Him there is no true access to the Father. If you both know Him, pray that He would deepen a holy and selfless love, not merely a spark of feeling, but that charity which is patient and pure. If this friendship is to move toward marriage, we pray it may be weighed in the light of God's holy design, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy and living together belongs within that covenant alone. Keep your time together therefore in holiness and with watchfulness, with the counsel and presence of family and of faithful brethren, fleeing every appearance of sin and seeking that wisdom which sees sin in its damnable character and lays it upon Christ by faith. Get into God's presence and there you will see how to give sin its final blow.

For travel and for weather, for work and leave, for provision and for the care of family and loved ones left at home, we commit these things to Him who is the God of our mercy and who goes before His people as shield and sword to clear the way. We ask for safety and for favour, and for grace to serve with excellence and to redeem the time, yet we ask it with submission, knowing He will give what He has promised and that prayer is not to bend Him to our wishes but to plead His faithfulness to do as He has said. He will supply every need according to His wisdom, and open doors no man can shut, or in love keep them closed for your greater good.

May the Lord grant you unhindered peace not because every plan falls out exactly as desired, but because you are kept in His will. May He guard the brother who remains to care for mother and home, and keep all entrusted to Him in health and comfort. May He make your gathering with family and friends to be marked by warmth and thankfulness, and above all by the presence of Christ.

We pray thus: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Thy Son, do Thou work in these Thy servants to will and to do of Thy good pleasure. If it be Thy will, order their steps in this journey, keep them in purity and in truth, guide them by wise counsel, and let no boastful confidence in tomorrow take the place of humble dependence upon Thee. Grant safety as Thou seest fit, grant provision as Thou knowest needful, and above all make them to know wisdom in the hidden part, that whether Thou grantest or withholdest, they may glorify Thee and be conformed to Christ.
