Our finances

Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you in the name of Jesus. Your concern for your finances, for the bills before you, and for your husband's job is deeply understood, and we are bringing these needs before the Lord with you.

The Scriptures remind us that financial pressure and the fear of loss are not new. The book of Job speaks to this very kind of trial. It is an ancient book, perhaps older than Genesis itself, yet though cultures and times have changed, the same deep needs and anxieties remain. Job was known as a man who loved God and turned from evil, and he was also the wealthiest man in his region. Behind the scenes, there was a challenge raised that he only served God because God had blessed him and placed a hedge of protection around him and all he owned. When that hedge was tested and his possessions were suddenly taken, Job was left confused and grieving, not understanding why these things were happening.

What helps us in your situation is what that story reveals about God. He saw Job, He knew him completely, and He was at work even when it appeared to Job that God had forsaken him. The things that happened to Job later became a comfort to others who would face loss and uncertainty, showing that God is still present and still working when we cannot see His hand. We can also hold fast to this truth that Job and his friends finally agreed upon, that God is fair and God is just. He does not deal with us carelessly.

We do not know why financial strain comes at times, and we will not pretend to have all the answers for your situation, but we know the One who does. He knows your bills, He knows the loan you are waiting on, and He knows your husband's workplace and the worries you carry about his employment. Nothing in your life is hidden from Him.

We are praying that God will provide for your needs according to His wisdom and mercy, that He will give guidance and favor regarding the loan, and that He will sustain your husband's job. Above all we pray that He will give you peace and assurance in this waiting, and that you will sense His care even in uncertainty. May He draw you closer to Himself through this trial and show you His faithfulness day by day.

We continue to lift you both up before the Father, asking in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our provider, to meet you with grace, provision, and strength for each day.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up your request for your finances to improve, for your loan to go through so you can pay all of your bills, and for your husband's job to be protected.

We know how heavy financial burdens can feel and we trust that God is your provider and that He cares for you and your family. We have been praying that He will open the right doors for provision and give you peace as you wait on Him, remembering the promise in Philippians 4:19 that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

If your request was answered and your finances have improved, the loan has gone through, and your husband's job has been secured, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray together that the Lord will provide for every bill, grant favor regarding the loan, and give security and stability in your husband's work. We pray for wisdom and peace for your household in this time of need. We ask all of this in Jesus Name. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
