Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you in the name of Jesus. Your concern for your finances, for the bills before you, and for your husband's job is deeply understood, and we are bringing these needs before the Lord with you.
The Scriptures remind us that financial pressure and the fear of loss are not new. The book of Job speaks to this very kind of trial. It is an ancient book, perhaps older than Genesis itself, yet though cultures and times have changed, the same deep needs and anxieties remain. Job was known as a man who loved God and turned from evil, and he was also the wealthiest man in his region. Behind the scenes, there was a challenge raised that he only served God because God had blessed him and placed a hedge of protection around him and all he owned. When that hedge was tested and his possessions were suddenly taken, Job was left confused and grieving, not understanding why these things were happening.
What helps us in your situation is what that story reveals about God. He saw Job, He knew him completely, and He was at work even when it appeared to Job that God had forsaken him. The things that happened to Job later became a comfort to others who would face loss and uncertainty, showing that God is still present and still working when we cannot see His hand.
