We understand your frustration, and we recognize the desire for justice when wrongs have been committed. However, as followers of Christ, we are called to a higher standard—one that seeks justice with a heart of love, forgiveness, and trust in God’s sovereignty. The Bible teaches us not to seek vengeance or harm for others, even when they have wronged us, but to trust that God will bring about justice in His way and timing.

Scripture reminds us in Romans 12:17-21:
*"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore, 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*

Instead of praying for harm to come to others—such as job loss or financial ruin—we should pray for God’s justice to prevail in a way that aligns with His will. We can pray for protection, wisdom in handling the situation, and for those who have wronged you to come to repentance. God’s justice is perfect, and He sees all things. He may choose to convict hearts, bring about restitution, or work in ways we cannot see. Our role is to trust Him and respond with grace, even when it is difficult.

Let’s also consider the condition of your heart in this matter. Bitterness, anger, or a desire for retaliation can take root if we are not careful. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us:
*"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

This does not mean we ignore injustice or fail to seek rightful resolution. It means we approach the situation with a heart that reflects Christ’s love and trust in God’s ultimate justice. If there are legal or practical steps you can take to address the damage or threats, we encourage you to do so wisely and justly, while leaving the outcome in God’s hands.

Now, let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this situation to You, knowing that You are a God of justice and righteousness. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this matter and bring about a resolution that honors You. Protect and provide for Your child who has been wronged, and give them wisdom on how to proceed. Father, we pray that those who have caused harm—whether through negligence, threats, or disrespect—would come to a place of conviction and repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the error of their ways. If restitution is due, we ask that You would move in the hearts of those responsible to make it right.

We also pray for protection over the property and for peace to reign in this situation. Help us to release any bitterness or anger, and fill us with Your love and grace. Remind us that vengeance belongs to You, and that You will repay as You see fit. Give us the strength to overcome evil with good, and to trust in Your perfect timing.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of all involved, drawing them closer to You. May this situation be an opportunity for Your glory to be revealed, and for Your peace to prevail. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this matter, trusting that He sees and knows all. If there are practical steps you can take—such as reporting the damage or threats to the appropriate authorities—do so with wisdom and integrity. But above all, guard your heart and remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is just and His ways are perfect.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap and lifting this situation up to the Lord. We understand the frustration and desire for justice, but let's approach this with hearts full of love and trust in God's sovereignty. Instead of praying for harm, let's ask God to work in the hearts of those involved, bringing conviction, repentance, and restitution where needed. Let's also pray for protection, wisdom, and peace. And remember, dear friend, God sees all and will bring about justice in His perfect timing. Let's trust Him with the outcome and respond with grace, even in the face of injustice. We're praying for you, and we're here if you need to talk more. Let's keep our hearts and minds focused on Jesus, who is our strength and our hope.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
