We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting your desire to preach the Gospel before the throne of grace. What a beautiful calling, to proclaim the truth of God’s Word and lead others into His light! We rejoice in your gratitude, for a thankful heart is fertile soil for the Holy Spirit to work.
The Lord has promised in His Word, "Before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." (Isaiah 65:24 WEB). He sees your longing to serve Him, and He will open doors no man can shut when the time is right. Remember the apostle Paul, who prayed earnestly for opportunities to preach, and the Lord answered by sending him to nations far and wide (Colossians 4:3). Yet Paul also waited in seasons of preparation, trusting God’s timing. We encourage you to do the same, study the Scriptures diligently, seek godly mentorship, and remain faithful in small things, for "he who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much" (Luke 16:10 WEB).
If there are obstacles or closed doors before you now, do not grow weary. The Lord may be refining your character, deepening your dependence on Him, or preparing the hearts of those who will receive your message. We rebuke every spirit of discouragement or delay that would whisper lies about your calling. The enemy seeks to silence the Gospel, but Christ has already overcome him! Stand firm in the truth that "faithful is he who calls you, who will also do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB).
We also gently remind you that preaching the Gospel is not merely about opening doors, it is about proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we urge you to examine your own heart and ensure you have placed your faith solely in Him for salvation. Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all true ministry.
Let us pray together now:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would open doors for them to preach Your Word with boldness and clarity. Lord, You have placed this desire in their heart, and we trust that You will fulfill it according to Your perfect will and timing. Remove every obstacle, silence every lie of the enemy, and grant them favor with those who can help equip and send them forth.
Father, we ask that You would fill them afresh with the Holy Spirit, that they may preach with power and conviction. Guard their heart from pride or impatience, and let humility and dependence on You mark their steps. May their life reflect the Gospel they proclaim, so that others may see Christ in them.
Lord, if there are areas where they need to grow, whether in knowledge, character, or surrender, we ask that You would reveal these and bring godly mentors alongside them. Prepare the hearts of those who will hear their message, and let Your Word go forth and accomplish the purpose for which You send it.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or delay in Jesus’ name. We declare that this servant of Yours is called, chosen, and anointed for such a time as this. May they walk in the fullness of Your calling, bringing glory to Your name and souls into Your kingdom.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, for He has promised, "Those who seek me diligently will find me" (Proverbs 8:17 WEB). Walk in obedience to His Word, and trust that He will direct your steps. The harvest is plentiful, and the Lord of the harvest is faithful to send forth laborers (Matthew 9:37-38). You are not alone in this journey, we stand with you in prayer and encouragement.
