Ordeal. Praying to overcome soon

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father in Jesus name please don’t be upset. Im asking for your help. I’m going to say that I don’t feel “strong” today. As a matter of fact I feel like crying. I’m dealing with financial hardship and fear, anxiety and worry have crept in. The hardship is as a result of losing income through no fault of my own. I was at that job “just for the paycheck”. My self esteem, dignity and self respect were being eroded. I was pretending that it was “all good” because I was told to have a thicker skin, but my soul was in misery. I was not flourishing but was slowly being destroyed at the hands of wicked people. Exchange my soul for a paycheck from corrupt leaders? That causes illness because there’s a conflict between the mind and “heart”. Outsiders say “what are you going to do” “you’re letting them win”. “What about your seniority and retirement”. I said that I would rather be obedient to the Living God and sacrifice all else as HE is the only reliable and stable one. I have to give an account if my deeds to God alone. Therefore, I will leave corrupt places and be free of the bondage of abuse. There are a lot of good workers fleeing toxic places. Even people fleeing toxic non-work relationships. I am a hard worker who wasted valuable time casting my pearls before swine. Now my reputation is ruined and I’m still looking for work.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We hear your cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Your honesty about your struggles—financial hardship, fear, anxiety, and the weight of injustice—is not a sign of weakness but a testament to your reliance on the Lord. You are not alone in this. The psalmist cried out, *"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God"* (Psalm 42:11). Even in the valley, God is your refuge.

We rejoice that you chose obedience to the Living God over the chains of a toxic environment, even when it cost you dearly. Your decision to walk away from corruption and abuse was not foolishness—it was faithfulness. Jesus warned us, *"Do not give what is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces"* (Matthew 7:6). You recognized the truth of this and acted with courage, though the world may not understand. The temporary loss of a paycheck is nothing compared to the eternal weight of standing before God with a clear conscience. *"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"* (Mark 8:36).

We must rebuke the lies that have crept into your heart—the whispers that you are weak, that you "let them win," or that your worth is tied to a job or the opinions of others. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ came that you might have life abundantly. Your dignity and identity are found in Him alone, not in the approval of corrupt leaders or the validation of outsiders. *"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). You are not defined by your circumstances but by your relationship with the Father.

We also lift up the pain of your reputation being tarnished. It is unjust, and we grieve with you over the time and energy wasted in an environment that did not honor God or His children. But we declare that God is the restorer of all things. *"And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast"* (1 Peter 5:10). Your story is not over. The Lord sees your integrity and will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

Now, we pray with you and for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is walking through this fiery trial. You see their heart, their obedience, and their desire to honor You above all else. We ask that You would be their strength in this moment of weakness. When fear and anxiety creep in, remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask for provision in this time of financial hardship. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and lead them to work that aligns with Your purpose for their life—work that honors You, values their gifts, and does not require them to compromise their integrity. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and multiply their efforts as they seek You first (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Heal their wounded soul, Lord, and remind them that their worth is found in You alone. Break the chains of shame and self-doubt, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them on the cross (Galatians 5:1). Surround them with godly community—believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and stand with them in this season.

Father, we also pray for those who have wronged them. Soften the hearts of the corrupt leaders and wicked people who contributed to their pain. Let Your light expose darkness, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Vindicate Your servant, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony.

Above all, draw them closer to You, Jesus. Let this trial refine their faith like gold (1 Peter 1:7) and deepen their trust in You. May they emerge from this season stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You than ever before. We declare that their latter will be greater than their former (Job 42:12), and that the works You have prepared for them to walk in are just ahead (Ephesians 2:10).

We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Redeemer, and soon-coming King. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. This season is not your forever. The same God who parted the Red Sea, shut the mouths of lions, and raised Jesus from the dead is fighting for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). You are not a victim—you are a victor in Christ.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, feeling the weight of your burden. We see you, we hear you, and we're lifting you up in prayer. You've been honest about your struggles - financial hardship, fear, anxiety, and the pain of injustice. It's okay to feel like crying, it's okay to feel weak. Jesus didn't shy away from our weaknesses; He embraced them. He said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

We're reminded of the story of Elijah. After his great victory on Mount Carmel, he ran away in fear and felt all alone. But God met him in his weakness, strengthened him, and told him, "The journey is too much for you right now. You're going to rest here a while" (1 Kings 19:7-8). God isn't surprised by your weariness, dear friend. He's here, ready to meet you in your weakness and give you rest.

We also want to encourage you about your decision to leave a toxic environment. It takes courage to walk away from abuse and corruption, even when it means losing a paycheck. Remember, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 5:10). You've chosen obedience to God over the approval of corrupt leaders, and that's commendable.

We're here to remind you of your worth. It's not tied to a job or the opinions of others. You're a child of God, and He sees you, He loves you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Your reputation may be tarnished, but your integrity is intact. God sees your heart, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come to You today, feeling the weight of our friend's burden. We lift up their financial struggles, their fears, their anxieties, and the pain of injustice they've faced. Lord, be their strength in this moment of weakness. Remind them of Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave or forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

Father, we ask for provision. Open doors of opportunity, lead them to work that honors You and values their gifts. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and multiply their efforts as they seek You first.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning. Heal their wounded soul, Lord, and remind them of their worth in You. Break the chains of shame and self-doubt, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ purchased for them.

Surround them with godly community, Lord. Let Your light expose darkness, and let justice roll down like waters. Vindicate Your servant, Lord, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony.

Above all, draw them closer to You, Jesus. Let this trial refine their faith and deepen their trust in You. Let their latter be greater than their former, and let the works You have prepared for them to walk in be just ahead.

Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. You're not a victim; you're a victor in Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
