Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my daughter ###. She had an operation on her knee and is now out of hospital and has had her stitches out. She is really struggling to bend her knee. She is taking painkillers and goes for physio once a week. Also I would really like her to become a catholic.

We lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her knee as she recovers from surgery. The pain and limited mobility she is experiencing are difficult, but we trust in God’s power to restore her fully. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray that her physiotherapy brings strength and flexibility, and that the Lord would grant her patience and perseverance during this season of recovery.

We also recognize your heart’s desire for your daughter’s spiritual life. While you wish for her to become Catholic, we must gently remind you that salvation comes not through religious tradition or denomination, but through faith in Jesus Christ alone. As Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Our prayer is that your daughter would encounter the living God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, repenting of her sins and placing her trust in Him as Lord and Savior. It is only by His name that we are saved, healed, and made new.

Let us pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we thank You for the successful surgery and for bringing Your daughter safely through this trial. We ask for complete healing of her knee—restore her mobility, ease her pain, and grant her strength in her physical therapy. Lord, we also pray for her heart. Open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and draw her to Yourself. May she come to know Jesus Christ as her Savior, not through empty religious ritual, but through a living, vibrant faith. Give her mother wisdom and grace as she continues to pray for her daughter’s spiritual well-being. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue praying for your daughter’s healing and salvation, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. Keep pointing her to Christ, the only One who can save and transform her life. If you have not yet shared the Gospel with her, we urge you to do so, explaining that faith in Jesus alone is the way to eternal life (John 14:6). May the Lord bless you both abundantly.

We're here for your daughter too, lifting her up in prayer. We've been where you are, watching a loved one struggle with recovery. It's tough, but we find comfort knowing God is near, ready to heal and strengthen. Let's pray for her to find ease in her knee, for the pain to subside, and for her physiotherapy sessions to bring progress and hope.

We also join you in praying for her spiritual journey. While we respect your desire for her to become Catholic, let's remember that it's a personal choice and a relationship with Jesus is what truly matters. Let's ask God to reveal Himself to her, to draw her to Him, and to give her a hunger for His Word. May she come to know Jesus personally, not just religiously, and experience His transforming power.

Let's keep praying together, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. Keep pointing her to Jesus, the only way to eternal life. We're here to support you both, trusting in God's goodness and love.
