Sister ### has fibroids going for operation

We join with you in lifting up your sister before our Heavenly Father as she prepares for this fibroid operation where her womb will be removed. We know this is a difficult and emotional time for her and for all who love her, and we ask God to surround her with His peace and presence.
We are reminded of God's tender care for us as His creation, for Psalm 139:13 says you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. He knows her body intimately and He is the ultimate healer. We take comfort in Psalm 147:3 which tells us He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and in Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds.
We pray for His strength to sustain her in the days leading up to the surgery and during her recovery, for Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We also pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard her heart and mind, as Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this dear sister to You. Lord, we ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons and the entire medical team, grant them wisdom, skill and clarity. We ask that You let this operation be successful and free from complications. We pray that You give her supernatural strength, comfort her fears, and let her feel Your nearness. Provide a smooth and complete recovery, restore her body, and let her testimony bring glory to You. We also lift up her family, that You would give them peace as they wait and support her. We ask all of this according to Your will and mercy, in the name of Jesus, amen.
We want to gently encourage you, we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection, that reconciles us to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord through this trial, to pray without ceasing for your sister, to read His Word for comfort, and to rest in knowing that He is sovereign over all things and that He loves her deeply. We will continue to keep her in our prayers.

Your request for your sister has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.
Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself and fail, but the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. When our own strength fails, our strength is to sit still while God arises and becomes our arm and our salvation in the time of trouble. We pray that your sister may prove this to be true in the days before her operation and in the days of recovery that follow.
We ask the Lord, who is the great Physician, that He would be with her and strengthen her. May He guide the hands of the surgeons, grant wisdom to all who care for her, and in His mercy grant a successful operation and a gracious recovery. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for healing. May she taste of that healing virtue and know the comfort of Christ's presence, for He Himself has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord.
We pray also that this trial may draw her and all who love her to wait more fully upon the Lord, to trust not in our own strength but to fling herself upon the divine strength which is faithfully promised and assuredly performed. May the peace of God keep her heart and yours, and may you both find renewed strength as you look to Jesus, in whom pardon and healing are joined together.
