Loving God, Holy Father - in the name of Jesus, I seek Your presence this day. Quiet my soul, open my heart, grant me patience and wisdom. I am struggling with so many emotions, deadlines, expectations, and worries. Take them away, heavenly God. Replace them with firm faith, unwavering belief, full trust, and obedience. Grant me relief from the sin of doubt and worry. In my earthly view, this year has been so full of tragedy, struggle, failures, and shortcomings. I know I have received many blessings as well; it's just that the needs and hurts seem to linger. May I enter the new year with an abundance of joy, hope, provision, and solution. Mold me, shape me, use me, I pray. At the foot of the cross I lay all of these earthly cares, knowing that Your plan is all I need. Help me be steadfast in listening and watching for Your leading and help me to be obedient when You call. In Jesus' name I pray for these blessings, now and forevermore. Amen.

Lord Jesus as I walk beside my sister here, may she feel Your everlasting presence with her also. Lord I bind her heart to Yours as You bear her pain as well, we look to You for her comfort, peace and serenity, as she surrenders to You her all, I ask You to be her strength, her courage, her words, her will, and her all, in Jesus name I pray for a new year to come with complete tranquility in You Father, in Jesus name we trust in You for ### and we give her to You, amen.
