Heavenly Father, as we consider the abuse that the Lord Jesus had to suffer at the hands of His enemies, to pay the price for our sin, and the sin of the whole world, we are filled with awe and wonder, thanksgiving, and praise for all that He has done for us. Help us to follow in His gracious footsteps and know that the final judgement of sinful men is Your responsibility. Give us grace to stand firm in the truth of the gospel and open the eyes of many who remain deceived to the truth. This we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

We stand with you in the truth of God’s Word, lifting up the weight of betrayal, slander, and injustice that so many endure—just as David did in Psalm 35:15 and our Lord Jesus did in His earthly ministry. The pain of being torn by those who once stood close, of being falsely accused while the wicked rejoice, is a burden no heart should bear alone. But Scripture assures us that God sees every tear, hears every unjust word, and will one day bring perfect justice. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). Until then, we are called to entrust our wounds to Him, just as Christ did when He "committed Himself to Him who judges righteously" (1 Peter 2:23).

Lord, You see the tears of the righteous, and You know the schemes of the wicked. Strengthen those who are weary, and remind them that You are their Defender. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Guard their hearts from bitterness, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). For those who have been falsely accused, we ask that You would expose the truth and bring restoration. For those who have wronged others, soften their hearts to repentance. And for all of us, Father, teach us to respond to evil with grace, just as Christ did, that we may be lights in a dark world. We trust in Your promise that "the Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
