Only FEW Will Be Saved! Do You People On Here Get That, Only FEW Will Be Saved!

Only FEW will be saved! According to the Lord Jesus Christ only FEW will be saved. "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it," Matthew 7:13,14. You people on here are being lied to by your false churches with your false pastors. So the question is, do you believe your false churches with your false pastors, or do you believe the Lord Jesus Christ? Myself, I believe the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said only FEW would be saved, thus only FEW will be saved. With that said your false churches with your false pastors are lying to you that MANY will be saved. This so called false revival that will bring MANY to Jesus is a lie. We are living in the last, and final generation. In the time of the great apostasy. With that said, it is only FEW that will be saved as the Master said. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your deep concern and urgency about the truth of salvation, and we share your reverence for the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are right to point us to Matthew 7:13-14, where Jesus says, "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it." This is a sobering truth, and we must never take it lightly. The path to eternal life is indeed narrow, and not all who claim to follow Christ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

However, we must also remember that while the gate is narrow, it is open to all who truly repent and believe in Jesus Christ. The apostle Peter declares in Acts 2:21, "It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." And in Romans 10:13, Paul echoes this truth: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"

The warning of "few" being saved is not meant to discourage us but to awaken us to the seriousness of our faith. It is a call to examine our hearts and ensure that we are not merely paying lip service to Christ while living in disobedience. Jesus Himself warns in Matthew 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will tell me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?' Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.'"

We must also be cautious about labeling churches or pastors as "false" without discernment. While it is true that false teachers exist (Matthew 24:24, 2 Peter 2:1), we are called to judge with righteous judgment (John 7:24) and to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). Not every church that preaches grace or revival is false, many are faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of repentance and faith in Christ. The key is whether they are pointing people to Jesus and His finished work on the cross, not to man-made traditions or watered-down messages that tickle ears (2 Timothy 4:3-4).

As for the "great apostasy," we know from Scripture that in the last days, many will fall away from the faith (1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Thessalonians 2:3). But even in this, we are not to despair. Jesus assures us in Matthew 24:13, "But he who endures to the end will be saved." Our focus must be on enduring in faith, not on predicting who will or will not be saved.

Let us also remember that salvation is not earned by our works but is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). Yet, true faith will always produce fruit, love, obedience, and a transformed life (James 2:17, Galatians 5:22-23). If we are truly in Christ, we will walk in the light, not in willful sin (1 John 1:6-7).

We pray with you now, lifting this truth before the throne of grace:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We thank You for the truth of Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Lord, we acknowledge that the way to eternal life is narrow, and few find it. We ask for Your mercy and grace to walk in that narrow way, not turning to the left or the right but keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Father, we repent of any complacency or presumption in our hearts. Forgive us for times when we have taken Your grace for granted or lived in ways that do not honor You. Help us to examine ourselves, to test our faith, and to ensure that we are truly in Christ. Lord, we ask for discernment to recognize false teaching and to cling to the truth of Your Gospel. Protect us from deception and lead us into all truth by Your Holy Spirit.

We pray for Your Church, Lord. Raise up faithful shepherds who will feed Your sheep with the pure milk of Your Word. Let revival come, not a false revival of emotionalism or empty profession, but a true revival of repentance, holiness, and wholehearted devotion to You. May we be a people who endure to the end, holding fast to our faith in the face of trials and apostasy.

Lord, we also pray for those who are lost. Even as we acknowledge that few will be saved, we do not lose heart. We ask that You would draw many to Yourself, opening their eyes to their need for a Savior. Use us as instruments of Your grace to share the Gospel boldly and compassionately, that some may be saved.

We trust in Your sovereignty, Father. You know those who are Yours, and You will preserve them to the end. Strengthen us to run the race with endurance, looking unto Jesus, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. In His precious name, we pray. Amen."

Let us hold fast to the truth of God’s Word, not being swayed by fear or false teachings. The call to salvation is urgent, but it is also an invitation extended to all who will come. Let us be faithful to proclaim it, live it, and trust God with the outcome. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). May we be found faithful in these last days, shining as lights in a dark world.

We hear the urgency in your words, and we take Jesus’ warnings seriously too. The narrow gate isn’t meant to fuel despair but to drive us humbly to the One who is the gate. When we’re tempted to fixate on who might be lost, it helps to remember that even the disciples asked, “Lord, is it I?” and not, “Lord, is it them?” That’s where peace lives, in turning our own hearts toward him daily and trusting the Shepherd to know his own sheep.

It might be worth asking: what is this burden producing in you? Righteous concern can turn into a lonely, anxious vigilance if we aren’t careful. If you’re weary from watching what feels like widespread deception, we understand. But Jesus who wept over the city also said his yoke is easy and his burden light. He doesn’t call us to police every pulpit but to abide in him and let our words be seasoned with grace, even when we speak hard truths. Sometimes the most powerful witness is a life that remains gentle, steady, and confident in God’s final sorting of wheat and tares.

A practical step might be to find a faithful, older believer or pastor you can talk with face-to-face about this passion you carry, someone who can listen, pray with you, and help you channel that zeal into building up rather than condemning. The fields are vast, and laborers are still needed. Let the urgency send you into the harvest with hope, not just warning.

Lord, you know the weight on our friend’s heart. Guard them from a spirit of accusation, and fill them with your love for every soul. Help them rest in your perfect judgment and your mercy, and give them courage to speak truth in a way that draws people to your narrow gate. Keep them close to you, in Jesus’ name.

It is a humbling and heart-searching truth, straight from the lips of the blessed Master, that few there be that find the narrow way, and that many press on through the broad gate to destruction. You do well to tremble at this, for it is no light thing to be warned by Love Incarnate that the many are on the road to perdition. Yet I beseech you, let not this solemn fact sour into a harsh censoriousness or a despairing withdrawal from that great gospel offer which is to be preached to every creature. When the apostles themselves put the very question, "Lord, are there few that be saved?" our Lord gave them no head-count to satisfy idle curiosity, but a solemn charge: "Strive to enter in at the strait gate." The soul's business is not to number the saved, but to make sure it is itself within that gate by a living faith.

Christ's words stand as a perpetual two-edged sword, indeed, slaying all false hope built upon a worldly profession, easy-believism without repentance, and the soft sayings of timeserving preachers. If a man build on anything short of the finished work of the Lord Jesus, he builds on sand. The way of salvation is not to do, nor to feel, nor to stir up one's own love, but to take Christ, to trust Christ, to look unto Him and be saved. "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth." It is the plainest thing in all the world, and it remains God's simple method for the chief of sinners. Where faith is, salvation is secure and everlasting, for "whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

But mark this: while you denounce the lying vanities of false religion, and they deserve to be denounced with tears, do not unwittingly narrow the gate beyond what Scripture has done. The Lord knows how to bring thousands through that strait gate without making it one hair wider, and we are not commissioned to shut out any by making it narrower. The secret things belong unto the Lord. He will be glorified in the multitudes of His redeemed whom no man can number, drawn from every kindred and tongue, though they be but a remnant compared to the world that lieth in wickedness. Our part is to sound the alarm and to extend the call, for we know not who are the vessels of mercy. God saveth sinners for His name's sake, not because of any good in them; and He is able to save to the uttermost all that come unto Him. What though the great apostasy darkens the age? We are not to retreat into bitter isolation but to proclaim more earnestly that salvation is of the Lord.

Examine yourself, my friend, whether you be in the faith. Does your salvation rest wholly upon Christ, or are you cherishing a secret hope that your own steadfastness in the truth, your own zeal against falsehood, contributes a particle to your acceptance before God? If so, you are trusting in yourself, and that is the very essence of the broad way. True salvation brings a man out of himself; it makes him blush at his own baseness and glory only in the cross. "Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake." And if you are saved, your heart's desire and prayer to God for the lost will be that they may be saved, not that they may be written off with a scoff. You will groan for them, not mock them. You will preach Christ, not merely the fewness of the elect.

Therefore, let your rightful horror at the multitude of false professors drive you, not to a proud contempt, but to a closer walk with your Lord and a more tender yearning for perishing men. The time is short. Strive yourself to enter in, and while you stand by the strait gate, hold out the rope of hope to all who will grasp it, remembering that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Lay hold of eternal life, and then with joy unutterable say, "I will rejoice in thy salvation." For it is a salvation that fits a sinner as a key fits a lock, made on purpose for such as we are, and its free provision is proclaimed to the ends of the earth, without money and without price. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have spoken truly that the Lord Jesus said only few find the narrow way, and you are right to flee from false shepherds who promise an easy salvation to the many. But take care that your own zeal does not become a snare. The word of God is living and sharp, piercing to the thoughts and intents of the heart, and it judges you no less than those you accuse. Faith is great and brings salvation, but faith alone is not enough; there must be a life of earnest labor. Let us labor therefore to enter that rest, lest any fall through the same example of unbelief. You cry out that only few are saved, but do not forget that even those few are not saved from their own resources. Were it not for the kindness of God saving us by faith, we too would have perished like Sodom. So boast not against the branches, but work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

It is true that many go the broad way, and false teachers abound, but the Lord wills all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Instead of merely railing against the lost, pray for them, draw them by love, for this is the salvation God desires. Christ Himself, the Captain of our salvation, learned obedience through what He suffered, and was made perfect to become the author of salvation for all who obey Him. If He, the Son, gained obedience through sufferings, how much more must we humble ourselves and bear the burdens of others. Do not treat those who wander as enemies, but as souls for whom Christ died. The fewness of the saved is not a cause for triumph, but for tears and great earnestness.

You feel the weight of Jesus’ own words pressing down, and that is not a bad place to be. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it. He said it plainly. When the Lord Himself warns that many are on a broad road heading toward destruction, it should shake us awake. Too many voices today try to broaden that gate, to lull people into thinking that simply breathing or feeling religious is enough. It is not. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If anyone tells you there is another way, another path that skips the cross and the narrowness, that is the voice of a false prophet, no matter how pleasant the wrapping looks.

But since the gate is so narrow, the urgent question turns back on each of us: have I truly entered? You can run all your life on a path and discover at the end that it was the wrong one. That would be a terror beyond words. The warning in Scripture is not just for “those people out there.” It is for anyone who assumes they are safe while their life shows no genuine transformation. A true, living faith in Jesus Christ will always produce corresponding works. Not to earn salvation, because salvation is a gift of grace through faith, not of works. But a faith that has no fruit, no evidence of a changed life, is dead. It cannot save anyone. If someone claims to believe yet walks in unrepentant sin, clinging to the works of the flesh, Scripture is clear that such a person will not inherit the kingdom of God. The demonstration of genuine faith is a life that, however imperfectly, turns from sin and pursues righteousness.

So the command of Jesus is not merely to analyze the crowd or decry the false revival. He said to you: “Strive to enter in at the straight gate.” That word strives means to agonize. It is a struggle. Many will seek to enter and not be able, not because God is unwilling, but because they seek on their own terms rather than God’s. They want a broad Jesus, a comfortable Jesus, a Jesus who blesses their sin and asks for no surrender. But the cross offends that mindset. It tells us there is only one way, and it requires dying to self.

Yet do not let the fewness drive you to despair. Let it drive you to examine yourself honestly before God. Ask Him, as David did, to search your heart and see if there is any wicked way in you. Faith must be built on the Word of God, not on feelings that come and go. Storms will come. Trials will test what you really believe. If your confidence rests on a past emotional experience or church membership while your walk remains broad and worldly, you are building on sand. But if your faith is anchored in Christ, actively trusting Him and showing itself in love and obedience, you have a solid rock. The same Jesus who warned of the narrow gate also promised that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Those truths do not contradict. His warnings are meant to shatter false assurance; His promise is meant to draw every sincere heart through that gate with hope. Do not be among those who merely hear, but press in and make your calling sure.
