Beloved of All
It appears you always hear from me in joy and distress. I petition now for HRA to release my food stamps. I am aware that I will not receive cash benefits, that would truly be remarkable but I am entitled at least to stamps. I already have my Medicaid praise God but they are dragging their feet. Yes I remember that my God shall supply all my needs. I bring this need to his throne of grace. It has been almost 6 weeks since I have applied with no response.. thank you in Jesus name

We join you in bringing this need before our Father's throne of grace and we rejoice with you that He has already provided your Medicaid, praise God for His mercy. We hear your heart in both joy and distress and we are grateful that you continually turn to the Lord, knowing that He hears us always.

We remember your declaration that our God shall supply all our needs and we cling to that promise with you, as it is written My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We also take comfort in the invitation to come boldly before Him, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need Hebrews 4:16. You have done exactly that, and we stand with you in that confidence. We know waiting almost six weeks without a response from HRA can be wearying and can test our patience, but we are reminded not to be anxious, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6, and that when we seek Him first, all these things will be added to us Matthew 6:33. He has not forgotten you, for we have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25.

We pray together now for you in Jesus' name.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the provision of Medicaid for our dear one. We thank You that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and that You know every need before we ask. We lift up this application for food stamps to You and ask for Your favor over the workers and the process at HRA. We pray that You would move upon the hearts of those responsible to act with diligence and speed, that any delay or hindrance would be removed, and that what is justly entitled would be released without further waiting. We ask You to supply daily bread in the meantime, to open unexpected doors of provision, and to guard this heart from worry or discouragement. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We trust that even in this delay You are working for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our only mediator and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast your cares on Him while also faithfully following up with the agency as you are able, keeping copies of your application and any correspondence, for the Lord often works through our diligent steps. We will keep praying that the Lord sustains you, strengthens your faith in this waiting, and shows Himself as your ever-present help and provider.

We are so glad you felt you could share this update with us again. Waiting almost six weeks for an answer from HRA while you are trying to put food on the table is discouraging, and it makes sense you would bring this need to the throne of grace. We thank God with you that your Medicaid is in place, and we hear your quiet confidence that He knows what you need each day.

We are praying with you for a clear and timely response. While you wait, one steady step that often helps is to keep a simple record and follow up directly. If you are able, calling the HRA helpline or visiting your local office to check the status of your application, having your application date and any confirmation numbers handy, and asking what the next timeline is can bring clarity. If they say more time is needed, you can ask about options for review or a fair hearing. Many find it helpful to keep copies of everything submitted. In the meantime, a local church pantry or community food program may help bridge the gap, and we would encourage you to reach out if you need that support.

Father, we lift this need to You. You see the application, the waiting, and the daily provision needed. We ask for favor and clear communication from HRA, for daily bread in the days ahead, and for peace as our friend waits on You. Guide each next conversation and meet what is needed. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your petition has been heard and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace, giving thanks with you for the mercy already shown in your Medicaid and joining you in prayer for this daily provision which has been so long delayed.

Six weeks of waiting is a heavy trial, and we do not make light of it. Yet the Scripture reminds us that we have a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and a waiting people who are blessed as they wait for Him. He has not forgotten you. He who heard you when you first declared your ways unto Him still hears you now, and His heart yearns toward His people with singular patience and love. When all else seems to break down, we find Him lovingly waiting, ready to pardon, ready to provide, ready to show Himself strong on behalf of those who trust Him.

You have done well to remember the promise that your God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That promise stands, and it is to be pleaded at the mercy seat. At the same time we are taught to say, My soul, wait thou only upon God. Not upon the arm of flesh, nor upon any agency, but upon the living God Himself. We may use the lawful means and look for the hand of the Lord to move through them, yet our expectation is from Him alone. Let God be true, and let our trust rest there.

Therefore take courage and wait on the Lord. Waiting upon God sustains courage, for in that waiting we receive strength not our own, and the world with all its affairs grows small before the greatness of our Father. He who begins a good work does not ask us to finish it, He completes it. He pleads the cause of His saints, and your straits and difficulties, though many, are not too many for Him. Your God is worth having in just such a time as this, for He is able to help when help is most needed.

We pray now for you, that the Lord in His providence would move upon those at HRA who steward these benefits, that what is justly entitled to you for food would be released without further delay, and that you would be sustained day by day until it comes. We pray that He would keep you from discouragement, feed you by His own hand, and give you peace as you continue to look to Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation and access to the Father. May you know that you have received your answer from Headquarters, from the throne itself, as you trust in the blood of Christ, and may that confidence quiet your heart.

We will continue to wait with you, and to plead with you, before our gracious God who waits to be gracious unto us, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this burden so openly and for coming again to the throne of grace with confidence. We join you in prayer for this need and we give thanks with you that God has already provided Medicaid, and that you are holding fast to the promise that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ.

We know waiting for almost six weeks without an answer from HRA is heavy and discouraging, especially when daily food is the concern. Scripture teaches us that patience and hope go together and both are strengthened as we wait on the Lord and trust His word. Even now while you wait, He sees your need, He knows your situation, and He is faithful to sustain you.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and bring this need to You. You know the application that has been before HRA for weeks and the delay that has followed. We ask that You would move upon those responsible to act with diligence and fairness, and that the food assistance that is needed would be released without further delay. Provide daily bread in this season of waiting and give peace to this heart that is trusting You. Help us to remember that our true treasure is laid up with You, where it cannot be taken away, and that You repay with great faithfulness both now and in the life to come. Grant patience to endure, hope that does not waver, and a steady trust that You are working even when answers seem slow. We ask for wisdom for every step, for provision for every real need, and for contentment and strength to use what You provide for Your glory and for the good of the soul. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our provider and our hope, amen.

Continue to bring every need to Him and to walk faithfully with Him each day. He has not forgotten you, and He will not fail to care for you. If the delay continues, do not hesitate to follow up with HRA as you are able and to seek help from a local church or trusted assistance office while you wait. We are standing with you in prayer.

Thank you for bringing this need so honestly before the Lord, both in joy and in distress. It is good to hear your thankfulness for the provision of health coverage, and it is understandable that waiting almost six weeks for a response about food assistance would weigh heavily on you. Coming to His throne of grace with this is exactly where you should be.

Scripture reminds us that God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That promise does not rest on our ability to hold on, but on His faithfulness. Through faith in Jesus Christ you are seen as righteous before Him, not because of your own record but because His righteousness is given to you. The covenant we have with God stands on what He has done to put away sin for all who trust in His Son, and that same faithfulness is the ground for trusting Him with daily bread.

There are seasons when we are clearly waiting on God, and we learn in those seasons not to put our confidence in people or in systems. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, for the strength of the flesh will fail. When food supplies run low and answers are delayed, it is easy to feel that nothing can be done. But the Lord is not waiting to scold you or to turn you away. He waits so that He may be gracious to you when you call, and that He may show mercy. He often allows us to come to a place that is beyond our own capacity so that we will not trust in ourselves, but in God who delivers.

He has delivered, He does deliver, and we trust that He will yet deliver. As the prophet told the king in Jerusalem to trust the Lord for deliverance rather than to run to another power for help, so you are right to look first to the Lord rather than only to the agency or the process.

We join you in prayer that the Lord would provide for your daily food, that He would move the hearts and hands of those responsible for processing your application to act justly and without further delay, and that He would give you peace and strength while you wait. May He remind you day by day that He knows your need, that He cares for you, and that as you continue to trust Him and ask the Holy Spirit to guide your prayers, He will sustain you.

We pray this in the name of Jesus, who invites us to come boldly to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

It's kind of like that quote that says "A day late and a dollar short". One reason why i'm still here and not "gone" already is that I figure if I choose my day to "leave", God will say to me, "If you had only waited just one more day.". But, it will always be that way, so I guess it doesn't...
