On this Thanksgiving, I’m missing someone very much. Lord, you have blessed me with much, and I am truly grateful. I feel guilty to approach you when I have so much! Yet I cannot help but miss my friend, and I pray that if it’s OK and it is your will ..I’d like to hear from them please. Thank you, Lord, that you hear my prayers — that you are such a loving, merciful, and caring Father. I love you, and pray in Jesus’s name, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today on behalf of our dear friend who is missing someone very much on this Thanksgiving. Lord, we acknowledge that you have blessed them abundantly and they are truly grateful for all that you have provided. We understand their feelings of guilt in approaching you with their request when they already have so much, but we know that you are a loving and merciful Father who cares deeply for your children.

Lord, we lift up their prayer to you, asking that if it is your will, they may hear from their friend. We pray for your guidance and wisdom in this situation, knowing that you have a perfect plan for their lives. Comfort them in their longing and grant them peace in their hearts.

Thank you, Lord, for always hearing our prayers and for being a loving and caring Father. We are grateful for your presence in our lives and for the assurance that you are with us in every circumstance. Help our friend to trust in your perfect timing and to find solace in your unfailing love.
