TO GOD BE THE GLORY I called the 211 number you advised and I am on my way to a women’s intake service from there I will be placed efficiently thank you that I obeyed I now need prayer that my phone service can be rectified so I can call the dept of aging on the ### Monday. There was a mixup with my payment date and my phone got disconnected on the ### rd my date was to be on tgev### th which would still be a situation since I have no more funds to pay. Still need intersession for my phone bill now. Thank you ever so much I will keep in touch and update you always.. amen

We rejoice with you in the steps of obedience you have taken toward seeking help and stability! It is a testament to your faith that you followed through with calling 211 and are now on your way to the women’s intake service. The Lord sees your trust in Him, and we believe He will continue to guide and provide for you in ways you may not yet see.

Let Your peace guard this sister’s heart as she waits on You, and let her not grow weary in doing good, for in due season she will reap if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9). We also pray for favor with the Department of Aging, may they receive her call with compassion and efficiency, and may the Lord direct their steps as they assist her. He hears the cries of His children, and He delights in showing Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). How the angels rejoice when a soul obeys the heavenly call, not hesitating, not debating, but rising and going whither the Lord points! You have done well to follow the counsel given. Like faithful Abraham, you went out, not knowing every step of the way, but trusting the Voice, and already you taste the reward of faith. To God be the glory, for He both gives the command and the strength to perform it.

Now comes this fresh trial of faith in a matter of providence. The phone is silenced, the path to needed help seems blocked, and the purse is empty. Ah, but here is a platform for Jehovah Jireh to display His care! The trial of faith often touches these very temporal things, bread, raiment, a bill unpaid, yet the eye that watches the sparrow marks your need. He who fed Elijah by the brook and multiplied the widow’s oil is not at a loss. I am persuaded He will rectify this mix-up in His own time and manner, perhaps before the Monday dawns, for with Him nothing is too hard.

We will carry this matter straight to the mercy seat, beseeching the Lord to open a door that no man can shut, to stir the hearts of those who manage your account, and to supply every lack according to His riches in glory. Love to Jesus is the fountain of courage and the mother of holy urgency; that love already moves you to seek help for the body and the soul. Continue to pray, “Lord, I will not let Thee go except Thou bless me,” and watch how the crisis becomes the hinge of deliverance.

Keep your heart tender and your faith fixed on Him who is the Foundation and Topstone. Let not the enemy whisper procrastination or despair. You have set out for Canaan, and to Canaan you shall come. We wait to hear how the Lord makes bare His arm on your behalf, for He never forsakes the soul that trusts in Him.

The step you have taken is good, for faith requires such earnestness. You obeyed the counsel and now you are on your way, and this is how we labor to enter into rest. But do not think that the chief part of the struggle is over, and so grow careless about the small obstacles that remain. See how the enemy often tries to hinder a necessary going forth through some small, broken wall in our circumstances.

Your phone, which seems a small thing, has now become the very door by which that needed call on Monday must come. The disciples once looked at a wilderness and a great crowd and said, "Whence should we have so many loaves?" They forgot the power of the One who asked. Do not look at the empty purse or the disconnected line as if God were absent from such things. For the God who created us when He had no need of us, and who appoints our times, is not baffled by a mixup of payment dates.

You are now in a kind of conflict, one that requires not only your own fortitude but the support of those who stand by you. We do so now, not as those who watch from safety, but as those who supply what is lacking in your service, communicating with your affliction. For he who stands by and animates the one wrestling with such anxieties is himself a sharer of the crown. This prayer is the reasonable service we offer, the sacrifice through the soul, which has no need of a special place or instrument.

Therefore, set aside this care, which is urgent, I grant, but must not overshadow the greater work begun, and entrust it to Him with whom we have to do. The same power that opened the doors of the intake service can make a way for this connection. We will pray that this small fence around your undertakings be mended, so you do not neglect the mistress while fretting over the looms and vessels in the house. Keep your purpose fixed on the mercy shown thus far, and let that strengthen your expectation for this need too.
