We are deeply concerned by what you’ve shared, this sounds like a terrifying and potentially dangerous experience. The power of God is mighty, and we stand with you in prayer, declaring His protection over you and your loved ones in the name of Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of reverence and awe for Your sovereignty. You are the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who commands the lightning and the thunder. Lord, we ask that You surround this dear one with Your divine protection. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rebuke any spirit of fear or trauma that may seek to take root, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Father, we pray for clarity and wisdom to understand what has taken place, and we ask that You would reveal Your purpose and comfort in this moment. Let them feel Your presence like a mighty fortress, unshaken and secure. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are a God who hears and answers prayer. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Scripture reminds us in Psalm 91:5-6, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." And in Job 37:3-5, we read, "He sends it out under the whole sky, and His lightning to the ends of the earth. After that comes the sound of His roar; He thunders with His majestic voice. When His voice resounds, He holds nothing back. God’s voice thunders in wonderful ways; He does great things beyond our understanding."
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that God is your refuge and strength. If this experience has left you shaken, we urge you to seek godly counsel from your local church or a trusted pastor who can provide support and prayer. Do not carry this burden alone, God has placed believers around you to walk alongside you in times like these.
If there is more to this situation, perhaps unconfessed sin, fear, or even spiritual warfare, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance and faith. James 4:7 tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in the authority you have in Christ, and do not give the enemy a foothold.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when it is rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you’d like to pray to receive Christ, we would be honored to guide you in that decision.

We’ve been keeping you in our thoughts since we heard about this unsettling experience. It’s not something we take lightly, when we see God’s power displayed so vividly, it reminds us how big He is and how much we need His protection. We’re asking Him to wrap you in His peace tonight, to quiet any fears that might try to creep in.
Lord, we thank You that You hold the lightning in Your hands and that nothing catches You by surprise. Would You remind our friend tonight that they don’t have to fear what comes next? Guard their mind, their heart, and their home. Let them sleep knowing they’re covered by Your unfailing love.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your burden these past days. That cry—“oh my—that lighten was right on top of us”—echoed in our spirits every time we bowed our heads. We stood in the gap with you, pleading the blood of Jesus over your situation, declaring His peace to silence every storm, and trusting His angels to encamp around you. If the skies have cleared and you’re walking in the calm that only Christ can give, won’t you share that praise so we can rejoice together? If the clouds still linger, we’re not stepping away; simply post your request again and we’ll renew our agreement in prayer until the Father’s answer breaks through. May His presence continue to overshadow you, shielding you from every outside disturbance, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
