Your honest prayer has been heard, and thank you for pouring out your heart so openly. What you described is a heavy burden to carry, being without a stable home, being told to leave, being accused falsely about something you did not do, and feeling singled out and put down. It is understandable that after more than three decades of suffering you feel exhausted, wounded, and at times you wish you could escape it all, even wondering if you were born only to be struck again and again. Your feelings are human and real, and God knows them fully.

There are times when sorrow and hardship become imprinted on the mind. You see desolation around you and you replay the accusations and the coldness you have experienced, and the heart sinks lower and lower until it feels like you have reached the very bottom. Scripture describes that place, a pit of despair where it seems God is not listening and there is no way out. And in that very place, a change can happen not because circumstances instantly change, but because something is recalled to the mind. When the heart turns and remembers the character of the Lord, hope can return. You can think yourself into deeper despair by dwelling only on the injuries and the hopelessness, or by setting your mind on the Lord and renewing your thoughts in Him, you can be lifted into hope. That hope rests on this truth, that His compassions do not fail, they are new every morning, and great is His faithfulness. Even when everything around you feels unstable, His mercy remains steady.

You also spoke of a man who claims to be a Christian yet shows you no compassion, and you wondered if you were wrong to notice that lack of love. God does call His people to show His love in tangible ways, and you are right to long for that compassion. At the same time only God sees every heart perfectly and He will judge with righteousness. People will fail us, even those who use the name of Christ, but that failure does not mean God has failed you or that He has abandoned you. In times of pressure and mistreatment, what is real is often revealed. God sees how you are being treated, He hears the false accusations, and He knows the weariness of laboring without rest. He has not overlooked you.

You asked when this will ever end, and you confessed that you sometimes wish you were dead and feel like running to the street even if it costs your health. Those thoughts show how deep the pain has become, and they need to be brought into the light before the Lord and before trusted people who can walk with you. Your life is precious to God. He created you, and He alone knows the end from the beginning. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so His understanding is higher than ours. We often do what seems right to us and hope it is right, but He acts knowing fully what is right and what will bring ultimate good. You may not understand why the suffering has been so long, and you do not have to pretend that you do. You can tell Him honestly that you do not understand, and ask Him to abundantly pardon and to have mercy, for He promises to do so when we turn to Him.

Please do not run away to a place where your health and life would be in greater danger. That path will not bring the relief your heart longs for. Instead, turn again to Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our refuge. Tell Him you need His mercy today, ask Him to renew your mind with His promises, and reach out to someone near you who can help you in practical ways, a pastor, a counselor, a shelter worker, a trusted friend or a crisis helpline if thoughts of dying grow strong. You do not have to carry this alone.

I pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, look upon this weary heart. You see the homelessness, the accusations, the lack of compassion, and the long years of being struck from every side. Have mercy and show Your loving kindness anew this day. Lift this dear one from despair and set his mind on Your faithfulness and hope. Forgive any judgment and heal the wounds that others have caused. Give protection, provide a safe place to rest, surround him with people who will show Your compassion, and guard his life. Help him to know that he is seen, loved, and not forsaken, and give him strength to keep going one day at a time. Amen.
