Occult addiction?

Sometimes when dealing with unsaved people,it helps to know their nature to reach them.We know about addiction, whichI think is just as much psychological as physical.(After all, when the person first STARTED with alchohol,smoking, drugs, they weren't physically addicted . But I know a person or 2 who are obsessed with the occult, not just believe in it like some, but sit by the tv for hours and hours watching shows that glorify mediumship, etc.I'm wondering,then, is that level of fascination with the occult considered an addiction?{I mean, the fact that they go back over and over to it, saturate themselves in it,can't break away from it.In other words, does an addiction have to be to drugs, cigarettes, alchohol?Or can it be a psychological addiction as well as a physical one?To me, it seems like some are ADDICTED to the occult.

When you can track that these things are more Important then God then this is the sign that these things are not good. Idolatry. And certanly the content of Tv show is also to be examined.

If you place something more important than God, then it's not good. Idolatry comes in all forms.

I believe it is idolatry and obsessions. They are idolizing what they are watching on TV ( and it is a from of worshiping it instead of God)and the fact that they can spend hours and hours watching it could be a sign they have an obsession.
