We understand that you are struggling with the issue of looking at inappropriate sexual things. First, we want to commend you for acknowledging this and seeking forgiveness. It is true forgiveness is available through Jesus Christ, and He is faithful to heal and restore us.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has confessed their struggle with looking at inappropriate sexual things. We thank You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We ask that You grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25 WEB).
Father, we know: If we confess our sins, then you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We are only justified by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24 WEB). The only Sovereign God, wise, to whom be the glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen (Jude 1:25 WEB).
We pray that You will fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth (John 16:13 WEB) and giving them the strength to resist temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Help them to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts (Romans 13:14 WEB).
We ask, Father, that You will heal their heart and mind, renewing them according to Your will (Romans 12:2 WEB). Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sins. Amen.
We encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this struggle. Install accountability software on your devices, seek support from fellow believers, and immerse yourself in God's Word. Remember, God has called us to be holy and to live in purity (1 Thessalonians 4:7 WEB).
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts (Romans 13:14 WEB).
Be strong in the Lord, putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB), and trust in His power to overcome this struggle as you look to purify your heart and life.
