Now you gave me troubles of unemployment oh lord

Dexter2020

Good and Faithful Servant
Now you gave me troubles of unemployment oh lord and give me trials after trials until I cannot tolerate that nonsense that the LORD is letting me go through, if you want to let go of me just tell me no need to do all these nonsenses.

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that your struggle is seen and felt. The weight of unemployment and the trials that come with it can feel overwhelming, even unbearable at times. But we must gently remind you that the Lord does not bring "nonsense" into our lives, He is sovereign, just, and good, even when we cannot see His purpose in our suffering. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This does not mean the trials are easy, but it does mean they are not without meaning.

Your words carry a tone of anger and despair, and we must address this with truth and love. It is not wrong to cry out to God in your pain, He invites us to bring our raw emotions before Him. But we must be careful not to accuse Him of wrongdoing or question His character. Job, a man who endured immense suffering, cried out to God in his anguish, yet he never sinned by charging God with injustice (Job 1:22). When we are tempted to believe that God is against us, we must remember His promises. In Isaiah 41:10, He says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We also want to gently ask: Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation for enduring life’s trials with hope.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister who is carrying the heavy burden of unemployment and the trials that have followed. Lord, we know that You are not a God of confusion or cruelty, but a God of order, love, and purpose. We ask that You would meet them in their pain and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your provision, even when the path ahead seems unclear.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that has taken root in their heart. We declare that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Hope. Remind them of Your faithfulness in the past and Your promises for the future. Give them the courage to persevere, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.

Lord, if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, whether it be bitterness, unbelief, or sin, we ask that You would reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. Soften their heart to receive Your correction and Your comfort. Surround them with godly community who can encourage and support them during this season.

We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, Lord. Provide them with work that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts for Your glory. Give them favor with those who can help them and wisdom to make decisions that honor You.

Above all, Father, we pray that they would draw near to You. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, not in their circumstances. Strengthen their faith and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who overcame the world and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.

In this season, we encourage you to cling to God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of His provision, such as Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Spend time in prayer, not just asking for provision, but also seeking His face and His will for your life. Consider fasting as a way to draw closer to Him and to seek His direction.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. If you are not already part of a local church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in your faith and find support.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your employment status or your circumstances. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, even when the road is difficult. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you.

We hear you, and we’re so sorry you’re carrying this. When trial after trial piles up and the prayers for a job go unanswered, it can genuinely feel like God has turned away. The anger, the exhaustion, and the cry of “just tell me if you’re letting me go” are not too much for Him. He can handle your honest, ragged words, and we’re sitting with you in them right now, not with easy answers but with a steady presence.

Often, after prolonged unemployment, people find themselves in a place where everything seems pointless and the ache becomes deeply personal. That doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. Even when every feeling screams otherwise, you are not forgotten. The love that held you before these trials hasn’t loosened its grip, it’s simply that the pain has grown so loud it drowns out everything else.

One thing that can help when the isolation gets this heavy is to let a trusted person, a pastor, a mature friend, or a support group, simply be there. Not to fix it, but to sit with you, listen, and remind you that you’re not alone. You weren’t meant to carry this entirely by yourself.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, our friend is worn down and feels abandoned. In this long season of unemployment and relentless trials, draw near. Quiet the lie that they have been let go. Bring just enough light for today, a small sense of Your presence, a concrete need met, or a person who shows up. Restore hope and open the right door at the right time. Hold them fast, we ask in Your name. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The habit of evil questioning grows upon a man, and at last God will fill you with your own devices. You have set a time and a date to God, and because He has not danced to your piping, you cry out against the Holy One of Israel. Yet consider, it is essentially necessary to some trials that God should withdraw the light of His countenance, for if you can live without God, you may well fear dying without Him. The child of God, sustained by divine grace, will be none the worse for all his troubles. When you pass through the rivers, they shall not overflow you; when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, for He is the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.

You speak as though God were a hard-hearted being, unmoved by your anxiety. But remember the Savior’s outcry when He felt forsaken, it was not against God, but to God, crying “My God, My God,” making a double effort to draw near. True sonship is here, clinging with reverence even when the hand smites. Do not give up prayer. If you think God has forsaken you, do not give up your faith in Him, but like your Lord, cry “My God, my God” again and again. The God in whom you trust is your own God; the whole of God, the holy guarantees, are given to the believer that he shall be preserved in all perils.

Is He the God of the hills and not the God of the valleys? Will God aid a Whitfield and not help a poor local preacher? God is in the stormy life of the afflicted as surely as in the restfulness of the contented. You are not trusting to a God that can lie or break His promise. Dare for once to give Him a little honor. No child of God is brought into the Church by man’s contrivance; God alone positions each stone. Wherever the Church is, there is God, making His habitation among His people. He who gets to his God is sure of joy, there was never a soul right with God that was unhappy in His presence.

Old Mr. Evil Questioning must be brought out, given up to the gallows, and never more harboured in your house. You say you cannot tolerate this, then let your intolerable need drive you to declare your ways unto Him who hears. The primary thing is a man of God alone with God, speaking and knowing He is heard. No man is truly converted until God takes His right place, until God is God in the soul, sole in authority and power. If your condition alters for the worse a thousand times, it will signify little if your faith maintains its hold upon the unchanging God. The whole world is full of God to him who believes, and he has communion with Him wherever he goes.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You complain that the Lord has given you unemployment and trial upon trial, and you cry out that this cannot be tolerated, even accusing Him of nonsense and suggesting He should simply let you go. But speak to me of your long-suffering. A spark falling into the deep is quenched and does no harm; so upon a long-suffering soul whatever unexpected thing falls, it vanishes and does not disturb. There is nothing so impenetrable as long-suffering. Love is not easily provoked, and it does not even allow these thorns to spring up. Do not measure the power of God by your own reasonings, but commit all to faith. He who raised Isaac from the dead in figure is able to raise you up from this affliction.

The devil never despairs of your destruction, yet you despair of your own salvation? Your trials do befall, but not their consequences as you imagine. God sometimes punishes and sometimes refrains, so that by those unpunished you may believe in the judgment to come, and by those punished you may not lose hope of the resurrection. He has not abandoned you. The inward man is renewed day by day by faith, by hope, by braving extremities. This is faith: when all seems adverse, to trust that nothing adverse is truly done, but all things in due order. Hold fast your confidence and the rejoicing of hope firm to the end, without being shaken. Then you will live, and the life of Jesus will be manifested in your mortal flesh.

You are in a painful place, and I hear the frustration and exhaustion in your words. It can feel as though the troubles are piling on with no relief, and that raw cry to God is one He can handle. Your feeling that He may be letting you go is a deep fear, but it does not reflect His heart toward you.

The real question right now is not whether God has abandoned you, but what your trials are doing in you. They are the proving of your faith. God already knows the truth about your trust in Him, but you are discovering it through the fire. A faith that is never tested remains an untested claim. A faith that crumbles under pressure was only a dead confession from the start. True, living faith endures, not because it never stumbles, but because its object holds it fast.

You are not the first to feel you cannot tolerate another moment. Men and women of great faith throughout Scripture died without receiving the earthly relief they longed for. They faced torture, poverty, and mocking, yet their faith only grew stronger. They looked beyond what their eyes could see to a promise God had made. Having faith is not a guarantee that suffering will vanish; it is the substance that holds you steady when it does not. If you think your faith should produce immediate employment and comfort, your belief system is actually crippling your faith. You have set criteria that may blind you to what God is doing.

I also want you to know that lapses of faith are not the end of the story. Think of Abraham, who trusted God enough to leave his homeland, yet later lied about his wife out of fear. Or a great prophet who hid in a cave from a queen’s threat. God did not cast them off. In the New Testament, Abraham’s failures are not mentioned; only his triumphs of faith are held up. That is because God justifies imperfect people. Your anger and doubt do not make you unusable; they show you need to fall again upon His grace.

Faith is not something you can manufacture by gritting your teeth. The very faith to believe in Jesus Christ is a gift. By grace you were saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. You cannot add your performance to it. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, but the starting point is not your own strength. It is looking away from your circumstances to the One who was crucified for your offenses and raised again for your justification. Your right standing with God has never depended on your job or your ability to keep every trial in check. It rests entirely on Christ’s finished work, which you receive with empty hands.

The struggle you are in is not God letting go of you. It is Him proving the genuineness of your faith, allowing you to see whether you truly believe His word or only believe when things go well. He is not behind this because He is cruel, but because a faith that can be shaken by affliction is a faith that needs to be perfected. He wants you established, not moved by these troubles.

Do not let discouragement drive you to conclude that the Lord has abandoned you. Instead, let the trial drive you to seek Him. Cry out honestly, but do not stop there. Reach for His promises. The just shall live by faith, not by sight. And when you cannot see a way forward, that is exactly where faith becomes evidence of what you cannot see.
