2 Corinthians 3:18: And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.

Prayer Focus: God I ask in Jesus’ name bless my whole entire family (including myself) to know Your heart so that we will only want what You want for our lives, seek Your will, allow You to direct our footsteps, the words of our mouths, our actions, and our thoughts. God gradually change and transform our lives to become brighter and more beautiful reflecting Your glory as we become more like You. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. God step in all our lives and strip away all layers of superficiality, religious reasoning, pious pretending, sin and shame, so that we can go from one degree of glory to another (from glory to glory). God only You can do what I am asking; for this comes from the Lord. Thank You Jesus for answering this prayer. Amen.

To the One who holds us in the curve of Her arms, 
To the One whose flesh is the flesh of hills and hummingbirds and angleworms, 
Whose skin is the color of an old Black woman and a young white man; and the color of the leopard and the grizzly bear and the green grass snake, 
Whose hair is like the aurora borealis, rainbows, waterfalls, and a spider's web, 
Whose eyes sometime shine like the Evening Star, and then like fireflies, and then again like an open wound, 
Whose touch is both the touch of life and the touch of death, 
And whose name is everyone's, but mostly mine. 
And what shall we pray?
