You say you don’t need the Bible, church, or prayer, and that you will be on your own now. But the truth is, no one is ever truly "on their own." We are all created by God, whether we acknowledge Him or not. The Bible is not just a book to be discarded—it is the living Word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. It is not a crutch for the weak; it is the foundation of truth in a world full of lies. To cast it aside is to reject the very One who offers healing, purpose, and eternal life.
You mention that Jesus has "proven" something to you, but we must ask: *What* has He proven? If you feel He has not come through for you, we urge you to consider this—Jesus never promised an easy life. In fact, He promised the opposite: *"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33). The proof of Jesus is not in a life free from pain, but in His resurrection, His victory over sin and death, and His offer of forgiveness and new life to all who come to Him. The problem is not that Jesus has failed; the problem is that we often expect Him to conform to our desires rather than surrendering to His will.
You say you don’t need "spiritual level" or anything beyond yourself. But the Bible warns us: *"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death"* (Proverbs 14:12). Self-reliance is a deception. We were not made to live for ourselves alone. We were made for relationship—first with God, then with others. To cut yourself off from Him is to cut yourself off from the very source of life, love, and meaning. Jesus said, *"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"* (John 15:5). Nothing. Not joy, not peace, not true fulfillment—nothing apart from Him.
And what of prayer? You say you will not pray, but prayer is not a ritual or a duty—it is communication with the Creator of the universe.
