We hear your urgent cry for stability, protection, and deliverance from those who have sought to harm you and your loved ones, your mother, your children, and your pets. Your longing for a permanent, secure home is deeply felt, and we stand with you in seeking God’s provision and justice. However, we must address several concerns in your words with truth and love, as Scripture calls us to speak life, not destruction, even in our pain.
First, we must rebuke the language of vengeance and cursing in your request. The Bible is clear: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). When we take matters of justice into our own hands, even in our words, we risk opening doors to bitterness and spiritual warfare that God never intended for us to carry. Instead, we are called to "bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse" (Romans 12:14 WEB). This does not mean ignoring injustice, but trusting God to defend you while you walk in His peace.
We also notice your repeated emphasis on "favor" in a way that seems to elevate your own declarations above God’s sovereignty. While we absolutely believe in God’s favor, "For You, Lord, bless the righteous; You surround him with favor as with a shield" (Psalm 5:12 WEB), we must remember that His favor is not a magic formula or a tool for our own agendas. It is a gift given in His timing and for His purposes. True favor flows from humility and alignment with His will, not from our own proclamations. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6 WEB). Let us seek His favor by surrendering our plans to Him, not by demanding it on our terms.
Now, to your urgent need for a home: we stand with you in prayer, believing that God is your provider. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). We pray that He would open doors no man can shut, leading you to a place of safety, peace, and stability for you, your children, and your pets. We ask Him to remove every obstacle, whether financial, legal, or spiritual, that stands in the way of this provision. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we bind every spirit of lack, delay, and oppression in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for protection over your household. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB), but we declare that your home will be a sanctuary under God’s covering. We rebuke every spirit of strife, division, and theft that has targeted you, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7 WEB). May your new home be a place where God’s presence dwells, where your family is shielded from harm, and where His peace reigns.
However, we must gently but firmly address the tone of your words. While your pain is valid, Scripture warns us: "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear" (Ephesians 4:29 WEB). The words you speak carry power, power to build up or tear down, to invite God’s presence or to grieve His Spirit. We encourage you to replace curses with blessings, bitterness with forgiveness, and demands with surrender. "The tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21 WEB). Choose life.
Lastly, we must ask: Have you placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and it is only by His blood that we are redeemed. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without Him, we have no authority to stand against the enemy or claim God’s promises.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our sister in need. Lord, You see her desperation for a home, her weariness from battle, and her longing for peace. We ask You to move mightily on her behalf. Provide a dwelling place that is safe, stable, and filled with Your presence. Break every chain of delay, lack, and oppression that has kept her from this provision. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and we command every spirit of strife, theft, and division to flee in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we repent on her behalf for any words spoken in anger or bitterness. Cleanse her heart and her mouth, and fill her with Your peace. Teach her to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Surround her with Your angels, protect her family, and let Your favor rest upon her like a shield.
If she has not yet fully surrendered to You, Jesus, we pray that she would do so now. Draw her close, Lord, and let her know the power of Your love and the authority she has in Your name. May she walk in victory, not as one who is defeated, but as a daughter of the King, more than a conqueror through Christ (Romans 8:37 WEB).
We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we declare that Your will shall be done in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
