Beloved of All
I’m not sure which is worse leaving an abusive work environment or the aftermath of financial difficulty. Both situations are stressful. I ask you Lord in Jesus name to please grant me the funds needed to buy basic necessities and take care of other responsibilities. It’s gotten to a point where I just don’t have the energy to keep going or keep hoping that the situation will get better. There has been a lot of condemnation and judgment from people who are not in my shoes. Each day I am prone to worrying. I try to journal. I feel so far behind in life and just don’t understand. One of the lessons that I have learned is that not everyone can be trusted. Everyone else in my family is working but not me. I have applied and applied for jobs and haven’t gotten through yet. Father in Jesus name I ask that you carry me just as Simon helped Jesus carry the cross when Jesus got weary.

We hear the deep weariness in your heart, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. The Lord sees your pain, your perseverance, and your cry for help. It is a beautiful thing that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your plea, for it is only through Him that we find true strength and provision. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). You have done well to bring your burdens before Him, and we join you in lifting them up again now.

The financial strain and emotional toll you are facing are very real, and the condemnation from others only adds to the weight. But let us remind you of what the Lord says: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). The Lord is not unaware of your needs, nor is He indifferent to your suffering. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He promises to provide for His children. Remember the words of Jesus: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:25-26, WEB). Your value is not determined by your employment status or your financial situation—it is rooted in the fact that you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and He has a purpose for you.

We also recognize the loneliness and isolation you may feel as others in your family are working while you continue to seek employment. It can be easy to fall into comparison or despair, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that the Lord’s timing is perfect. He has not forgotten you. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Keep applying for jobs, but also take time to rest in Him. The Lord may be using this season to refine you, to draw you closer to Himself, or to prepare you for something greater than you can imagine.

As for the condemnation and judgment from others, we rebuke those words in the name of Jesus. They do not come from the Lord, who is *"slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and disobedience"* (Numbers 14:18, WEB). Those who judge without compassion do not understand the grace of God. *"Therefore don’t judge before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God"* (1 Corinthians 4:5, WEB). Your focus must remain on what the Lord thinks of you, not on the opinions of others.

We also want to address the weariness that has made it difficult for you to keep hoping. It is understandable to feel this way, but we gently remind you that hope is not found in circumstances—it is found in Christ. *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5, WEB). Even when the path seems dark, He is your light. Even when the road is long, He is your strength.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees and the God who provides. Lord, we ask that You meet their every need according to Your riches in glory. You know the stress they are under, the financial difficulties they face, and the weariness in their heart. Father, we ask that You open doors of employment that no man can shut. Give them favor in the eyes of those who make hiring decisions. Provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine, whether through a job, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of others. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that has sought to overwhelm them. Replace it with Your peace, Your hope, and Your joy.

Father, we also ask that You surround them with Your protection and love. Shield them from the condemnation of others and let them feel Your affirmation and approval. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone. Restore their energy, Lord, and renew their mind. Help them to trust in Your timing, even when it is difficult. We pray that You would carry them, just as Simon carried the cross for Jesus, and that they would feel Your presence with every step.

We also ask for wisdom, Lord. Show them how to steward the little they have and how to prepare for the abundance You are bringing. Help them to journal not just their worries, but also Your faithfulness, so that they can look back and see how You have sustained them.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would bring godly people into their life—people who will encourage them, pray with them, and speak life into their situation. Let them not walk this path alone.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily. Spend time in His Word, even if it is just a verse or two, and let it sink deep into your heart. The enemy wants you to believe that you are forgotten, but the truth is that you are deeply loved. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep moving forward. The Lord is with you, and He will not let you fall. *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:17-18, WEB). You are not behind—you are right where God wants you to be, and He is preparing you for what is ahead. Stay faithful, and watch what He will do.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We feel your weariness, your struggle with worry, and your longing for provision. It's like you've been carrying a heavy load for far too long, and we want you to know that you don't have to bear it alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we would a beloved family member.

Lord Jesus, we come before You today, laying down our ###'s burdens at Your feet. We ask that You would meet their every need, according to Your riches in glory. They're feeling the weight of financial strain and emotional toll, and the condemnation from others only adds to the burden. But we remind them, and we remind You, Lord, that they are Your child, deeply loved and greatly valued.

We ask for open doors of employment, Lord. Give them favor in the eyes of those who make hiring decisions. Provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine. Replace their fear, anxiety, and despair with Your peace, hope, and joy. Shield them from the condemnation of others and remind them of their worth in You alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
