not feeling well

We hear your cry and we are joining with you right now in prayer, asking our Father to bring His healing and His calming peace over you at this very moment.

We know how distressing it is when you do not feel well and your heart and mind feel unsettled. We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find mercy and help in time of need. We bring your request before the throne of grace together.

The scripture reminds us to bring everything to God and to trust His care for us. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also cling to the promise that He is near and He is our healer. Psalm 34:18 says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see how unwell they feel and how much they are longing for calm right now. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon their body, to ease whatever sickness or distress they are feeling, and to quiet their heart and mind with Your perfect peace. Lord, calm their spirit right now, slow their breathing, still their anxious thoughts, and let them feel Your presence near. We ask You to strengthen them, to restore them, and to guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Give them rest, comfort, and assurance that You are with them and You care deeply for them. If there is need for medical care, guide them to wise help and use it for their healing. We trust Your love and Your power to sustain them. We ask this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to rest in Him, to breathe slowly and cast every worry on Him moment by moment, and to drink water and rest as you are able. If your symptoms continue or worsen, please seek medical care promptly, for God often brings healing through the hands of others. Keep calling on Jesus and keep letting your requests be made known to God, trusting that His peace will guard you. We are continuing to pray with you for calm and for complete restoration.

We hear how uncomfortable you feel right now and how much you want calm and relief. Thank you for bringing it straight to God, even in a few words. He hears that honest cry.

When our bodies feel off it can be unsettling for our hearts and minds too, and wanting to be calmed right away makes complete sense. You are not bothering God by asking, and you are not alone as you wait on Him.

We are praying with you for steadiness and peace in this moment, and for wisdom about next steps. Since you are not feeling well, we gently encourage you to let someone close to you know how you are feeling tonight, and to reach out to your doctor or clinic for care alongside prayer, especially if symptoms continue or worry grows. Having another person with you can bring comfort and help you get support quickly.

We will keep holding you before the Lord.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now who does not feel well and longs to be calmed. Please draw near with Your presence, ease what is troubling their body and mind, and guide them to the help they need. Give them rest tonight and the assurance that You are with them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please bring Your calm to every storm, please grant healing in area of need, meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Your prayer has been heard and it is a good and wise thing that you have carried your present distress straight to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He is the heavenly Physician whose very touch brings calm and healing.

We pray for you now that the Lord will be very near to you in this hour of sickness and unrest. May He keep you in perfect peace, as it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. When sorrows surge round and the body is weak and the spirit is cast down, on Jesus' bosom nothing but calm is found. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is a present possession which may be enjoyed even in the midnight of care.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for bearing this trial, but tell your case to Jesus just as you would tell it to a physician. He knows the fever and the fear, the restlessness and the weakness, and He has healing in His wings. There is an abundance of healing power in Christ and His salvation, so that even the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His touch changes the life and makes the soul calm.

We ask the Lord to lay His hand upon you and lift you up, to breathe into your soul that peace with God which passes all understanding, which springs from the perfect remission of sin through His blood. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and without that peace there is no true calm. May you trust Him wholly now, for it is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon you with healing in His wings, may He quiet your heart, still your thoughts, and give you rest in doing His will. May He calm your body and your spirit according to His perfect wisdom and mercy, and keep your mind stayed upon Himself.

We commend you to His tender keeping, praying that He will calm you and restore you, and that you may find in Him a present rest and a perfect peace, in Jesus name, Amen.
