Not attend

Dhitlor

Faithful Servant
Please pray that God would possibly make a way for me to not have to attend an event this weekend that I believe is a trap for certain people who have been targeting me under the influence of demons to use to try to abuse me. Thank you.

We hear your deep concern and fear, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s protection and wisdom in this situation. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and it is clear you sense a spiritual threat. We take this seriously, for Scripture warns us to be sober and watchful against the schemes of darkness.

First, we must rebuke the influence of demons in this matter. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every evil spirit seeking to harm you to flee. Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that you are covered by the blood of Christ, and no trap set by the enemy will succeed against you.

However, we must also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in how to respond. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Have you prayed for discernment about whether this event is truly a danger or if the Lord may be testing your faith and courage? Sometimes what we perceive as a trap may be an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power and protection.

If you truly believe this event is a snare, we pray that the Lord would either close the door entirely or give you a clear, unmistakable sign that you should not attend. We ask Him to surround you with His angels, as He promises in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." May He give you peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and confirm His will through His Word and the counsel of godly believers around you.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance. If this event is indeed a trap set by the enemy, we ask You to shut the door completely and make a way of escape. If there is a purpose for them to attend, we pray for Your hedge of protection around them, that no harm would come near them.

We rebuke every demonic influence seeking to use this situation to cause fear, harm, or abuse. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, fill them with Your peace and confidence in Your power. Give them wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to walk in it.

We also pray for those who may be under the influence of these demons. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth, break the chains of darkness over their lives, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may Your love and truth prevail.

Above all, we pray that this situation would glorify You. May Your name be exalted, and may Your will be done. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in faith and prayer. We've claimed God's protection over you, but we also want to encourage you to seek His will in this. Have you asked God for clarity on whether this event is truly a trap, or if He might be using it to strengthen your faith? Sometimes, what we perceive as a trap can be an opportunity for God to show His power and protection.

Let's pray together: "Father, we come to You, trusting in Your love and wisdom. We ask for Your guidance in this situation. If this event is indeed a trap, we pray that You would close the door or make Your will clear. Surround our dear friend with Your angels, and give them peace that surpasses understanding. Help them to discern Your will and give them the courage to follow it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
