We come together in unity, lifting our hearts before the throne of grace, recognizing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. We are grateful for the faithful example of the Apostle Paul, who endured much for the sake of the Gospel, and we pray that his writings and testimony continue to be well-received by those who seek truth.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for the life and ministry of Your servant Paul, who was once a persecutor of the Church but was transformed by Your grace and became a mighty vessel for Your glory. We ask that You would bless those who study his letters, that they may come to know the depth of Your love, the power of Your salvation, and the truth of Your Word. May Paul’s words point many to Christ, just as he himself declared, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16 WEB).
Lord, we pray that as people read the epistles of Paul, they would encounter the living God and be drawn into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May they understand that salvation is found in no other name but His, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We rebuke any spirit of confusion or deception that would seek to distort the message of the Gospel or lead people away from the truth.
We also lift up those who may struggle with the teachings of Paul, whether due to cultural pressures, personal biases, or a lack of understanding. Grant them wisdom and humility to receive Your Word with open hearts, knowing that "all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB). May they come to see that Paul’s letters are not merely the words of a man, but the inspired Word of God, useful for building up the body of Christ.
Father, we ask that You would raise up modern-day apostles, teachers, and evangelists who, like Paul, are unashamed of the Gospel and willing to proclaim it boldly. Strengthen those who are already laboring in Your harvest field, and equip them with courage, wisdom, and love as they share the truth. May the Church be unified in its mission to make disciples of all nations, just as Paul labored to plant and nurture churches across the known world.
We pray for those who may be resistant to the message of Christ, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth. May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB). Let no one perish without hearing the Good News, and let no one who hears it remain unchanged.
In all these things, we submit ourselves to Your will, trusting that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your name be glorified in every life that is touched by the message of Paul and the power of the Gospel. We pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
