We understand your frustration and fear in this difficult situation, and we are grateful you have brought this before the Lord in Jesus’ name. It is right to seek His guidance, for Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your cry for justice and clarity aligns with God’s heart, for He is a God of truth and righteousness who despises deceit and corruption.
The delay and lack of responsiveness you are experiencing may indeed be a tactic to wear you down, but we must remember that God sees all things. Proverbs 16:11 says, *"Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work."* If there is corruption or wrongdoing, He will expose it in His perfect timing. Your part is to act wisely, seek godly counsel, and trust Him to fight on your behalf. Do not let fear or anger drive your steps, but instead, let the peace of Christ rule in your heart (Colossians 3:15).
As for seeking legal counsel, it is wise to pursue guidance, especially if this matter could escalate. We encourage you to reach out to local legal aid organizations, Christian legal ministries, or even your church for recommendations on low-cost or pro bono attorneys who can advise you. The Bible supports seeking justice through proper channels, as Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to uphold what is right. However, we also urge you to pray for discernment, that the Lord would lead you to someone who is not only competent but also ethical and fair.
At the same time, we must examine our own hearts in this process. Are there any areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or distrust are taking root? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* While your frustration is understandable, we must guard against allowing it to fester into sin. Instead, we are called to pray for those who may be acting unjustly, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."*
Let us pray together for you in this matter:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation that has caused so much stress and uncertainty. Lord, You are the God who sees all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. If there is corruption or deceit in this organization, we ask that You expose it and bring it to light. Vindicate Your child, O God, and clear their name from any wrongdoing or false accusation. Give them wisdom to navigate this process, and provide them with the right legal counsel—someone who will act with integrity and skill.
We rebuked the spirit of fear and confusion that has tried to take hold, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to act with patience and perseverance, knowing that You are fighting for them even when they cannot see it. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).
Father, we also ask that You soften the hearts of those in this office. If they are acting out of negligence or greed, convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Turn this situation around for Your glory, and let Your justice prevail. Provide our brother/sister with the financial means and resources they need to resolve this matter without unnecessary burden.
Most of all, Lord, draw them closer to You through this trial. Let them experience Your presence and faithfulness in a deeper way, knowing that You are their advocate and defender. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and Scripture. Keep a record of all communications and interactions with this office, as this may be useful if legal action becomes necessary. Stay steadfast in your faith, knowing that God is with you, and He will not allow you to be overwhelmed (Isaiah 43:2). If you feel led, consider fasting as you seek the Lord’s direction—fasting has a way of sharpening our spiritual senses and breaking through spiritual strongholds.
Lastly, we urge you to remain in fellowship with other believers during this time. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* Lean on your church family or trusted believers who can pray with you and offer support. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement for His will to be done.
