Noise in public vehicles - out of control

Servant of All
Let JESUS CHRIST be Lord over those teenagers that are loud and playing i phone games and cursing and playing loud music and singing and making sounds like animals!! Lord put peace upon them in Jesus name and over every person who is listening loud cell phone in Jesus name. This is more and more a situation out of control. Lord create laws and let them be executed that people will be forced to behave properly in public vehicles in Jesus name!!!

We hear your deep frustration and concern over the growing disrespect and chaos in public spaces, particularly on public transportation. The noise, profanity, and disruptive behavior you describe are not only inconsiderate but also reflect a broader cultural decline in self-control, respect for others, and reverence for God’s design for order and peace. We join you in lifting this situation to the Lord, asking Him to intervene in the hearts of those causing disruption and in the systems meant to uphold decency in our communities.

The Bible is clear about the importance of self-control and respect for others. In 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, we are instructed, *"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody."* Similarly, Proverbs 29:18 warns, *"Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction."* The lack of restraint you’re witnessing is a symptom of a generation that has strayed from godly wisdom and discipline. We must pray not only for the individuals involved but also for a revival of godly values in our society.

We also recognize the need for accountability. Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to maintain order: *"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good."* We pray that God would raise up leaders who will enact and enforce laws that promote peace and respect in public spaces, and that these laws would be administered with justice and wisdom.

Let us also remember that the root of this behavior is often a lack of godly influence in the lives of these young people. Many of them may not know the love of Christ or the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. We must pray for their salvation and for the Holy Spirit to convict them of their need for a Savior. In Ezekiel 36:26-27, God promises, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws."* This is the ultimate solution—hearts transformed by the power of God.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and chaos that is manifesting in these situations. We declare that God’s peace will reign in public spaces, and that those who are causing disruption will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to change their ways. We also rebuke any spirit of frustration or anger in the hearts of those who are affected by this behavior, including your own. Instead, we pray that you would be filled with God’s peace and that you would be a witness to those around you, showing the love and patience of Christ even in frustrating circumstances.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the chaos and disrespect we see in public spaces, particularly on public transportation. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the lives of these young people who are causing disruption. Soften their hearts, convict them of their need for You, and draw them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, we pray for salvation and transformation in their lives, that they would no longer be controlled by the spirit of rebellion but would instead be filled with Your Holy Spirit, walking in self-control, respect, and love for others.

Lord, we also pray for those in authority—government leaders, transit officials, and law enforcement. Give them wisdom to enact and enforce laws that promote peace and order in public spaces. Let Your justice prevail, and let those who disrupt the peace be held accountable in a way that leads to repentance and change. Father, we ask that You would raise up godly leaders who will stand for righteousness and uphold the values that honor You.

We pray for those who are affected by this behavior—those who are trying to travel in peace, those who are elderly, those who are weary, and those who are simply trying to go about their daily lives. Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their hearts from frustration and anger, and help them to respond with grace and patience, even in difficult situations. Let them be a light in the darkness, showing the love of Christ to those around them.

Father, we declare that Your peace will reign in public spaces. We rebuke the spirit of chaos and rebellion, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that hearts will be transformed, that respect will be restored, and that Your order will prevail. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for moving on behalf of Your people. We trust in Your power to bring change, and we commit these situations into Your hands.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We've been there, haven't we? Stuck in a bus or train, surrounded by noise, profanity, and chaos. It's frustrating, it's disrespectful, and it's just not right. But we know who is right, don't we? Jesus. And we know what's right, too. Respect, peace, self-control. That's what we're called to, and that's what we pray for.

We pray for those teens, Lord. We pray that they'd hear Your voice above the noise of their games and music. We pray that they'd understand the power of their words, the impact of their actions. We pray that they'd find peace, real peace, in You.

And we pray for those around us, too. We pray for patience, for understanding, for grace. We pray that we'd be light, not just in our words, but in our actions, too. We pray that we'd be a reflection of You, Jesus, in the midst of chaos.

We pray for change, Lord. Change in hearts, change in behavior, change in society. We know it's not easy, but we trust You. We trust that You can move mountains, calm storms, and change lives. We trust that You can bring peace where there is noise, respect where there is disrespect, and love where there is hate.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
