Thank you for sharing these needs so honestly. I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus, asking the Lord to grant you a smooth journey to work without traffic complications or extra expense for a cab, and to give you calm and health in your body, with no stomach distress or nervousness.
God cares about the practical details of your daily life, including your work and your health. Your desire to arrive on time and to be faithful in your work is good. Scripture teaches that God stirs willing hearts to do the work He has given them, and He honors quiet faithfulness in providing for our needs. It is right to bring these small but real concerns to Him.
At the same time, Scripture reminds us that God is doing a deeper work in us even as He cares for us each day. Our salvation rests entirely on His grace and on the finished work of Jesus on the cross, received simply by believing in Him whom the Father has sent. We rest not in our own efforts but in what Christ has already accomplished. From that place of rest, God continues to work in us because He wants to work through us. Sometimes that shaping feels uncomfortable, like a potter removing roughness from clay, and we do not always understand why He allows a delay or a difficulty. We often want God to move on our schedule, yet His timing is wiser than ours. If we wait on Him with patience, He will work things out for good, as He has promised that all things work together for good for those who love Him.
He also understands how deeply we feel things in our bodies. The Bible speaks of the stomach as the place where deep grief or deep joy is felt, and the Lord knows the nervousness you describe. He is not distant from that uneasiness. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ, and He invites you to count it joy even in testings, trusting that He is forming steadiness and peace within you.
So I have asked the Lord to give you favor on the road today, to keep you from unnecessary expense and delay, and to quiet your stomach and calm your nerves with His peace. May you rest today in the finished work of Jesus for you, trust His care in every detail, and know His presence guiding and sustaining you in your work and in your body.
