We hear your concern about the physical discomfort you're experiencing, and we want to lift this up in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s healing and comfort. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We serve a God who is not only aware of our suffering but is also our Great Physician. It’s important to seek wisdom and discernment in understanding what your body is telling you, as physical symptoms can sometimes be signals that something needs attention.
Father God, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one who is experiencing discomfort in their body. Lord, You know every part of us—our thoughts, our pains, and our needs before we even speak them. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon them, that You would bring relief to the pain on the right side of their back and restore balance to their body. Give them wisdom to seek the right care, whether through medical professionals, rest, or other godly counsel. We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing over them now. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to gently encourage you to consider whether there may be underlying stress, tension, or even spiritual warfare contributing to these symptoms. The enemy often seeks to distract and discourage us through physical ailments, but we are reminded in James 4:7 to *"submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is indeed watching over you, and He is not playing games with your life—He is sovereign and in control.
If this discomfort persists, we would also encourage you to seek medical advice, as the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward it well. At the same time, continue to lean on the Lord, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Lastly, we want to gently address the way you referred to God in your request. While we know you have reverence for Him, it is important to remember that we have access to the Father only through the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we find true healing, peace, and eternal life. If you’d like, we can pray with you about this as well. You are not alone in this journey, and we are here to support you in prayer and encouragement.
