Beloved of All
I'm prayed out. I have nothing left in me. I'm praying constantly. I'm talking to God all day long in my head while I'm working. I just keep falling deeper and deeper. This started five months ago and I'm not any closer to getting anything together. Car's not fixed, can't afford Lyft rides for the next week of work. I have no resources. I dreamed about a friendly mother elephant and her playful baby reaching their trunks out to me from outside my door and I was petting their trunks (elephants use their trunks affectionately in communication). But as this was happening, I couldn't get out the door. I was going to go move some big obstacles I but couldn't get out the door. But I went out another way. (What other way was not evident in the dream.) As I went to "the obstacles" to move, knowing I had to move them all alone, there I found a couple of people already there to help me. But in the dream, the obstacles were a bunch of stacked weights that were far more than any one person could move, so we started moving them. But then I woke up. The dream didn't last long enough to know if we moved the weights, but the friendly elephants weren't there to help. Can any of you interpret dreams? I don't have any time left, of money, to resolve everything in time. I'm praying all day long. I even realize at times I'm mumbling and suddenly worry if people hear me talking to myself. I've had to pray hard at times, but never like this and never for such a great deal of time. I've tried to relax and let go at times to let God work, but it just seems like I fall further behind like God is punishing me for not doing enough for myself. I'm only human. If I second guess, it backfires. But everything backfires no matter how many times I attempt anything. I have been left powerless, without any resources, and hopeless. The silence is deafening. All this started with that car that was a blessing but turned into a curse. I can't fight that. I understand why people make the drastic decision to end it all. Sometimes it appears that the only way to win, is to lose, and the only way to accomplish that is to end one's presence on earth. There are only about three people in my life who would be saddened. There isn't anyone who is dependent on me for anything. So maybe the curse of being left without someone to love and be loved by is a weird blessing. There are far too many things that would have to come together in the next couple of days that could only offer some hope. And in order for everything to work out for any lasting good to survive beyond this desperate time, well, there's just nothing in my little world that can remotely provide that. I'm not doubting God's power, but this isn't Biblical times when God was parting seas, turning water red, and when Jesus fed thousands with a couple of fish and loaves of bread. People aren't being brought back to life after being dead for three days. Through all of this, I am remembering every bad thing I did and every stupid thing and every bad decision and have realized that this must be God telling me that I deserve this and that I should just "shut up and take it" - the words I heard so many times growing up, not just from my parents, but also from all my hateful siblings. They would all be so happy and feel so validated in their hatred for me if they could see my failures and desperate struggles now. The only feasting and cheering here would be them. The only time I feel "safe" and I threatened is when I'm in bed asleep except for the threat of succumbing to my sleep apnea...IF only. Ever day is not a new chance for success, every day is another day to fail, and that's all I seem to have been doing for many years now. I don't like how helpless and inept at life I've become. I don't like having this feeling of having a cloak of curses wrapped all around me like tar and feathers. I am deeply worried about myself for i cannot promise I won't end this today, tonight, tomorrow, or whenever. I do not see nor feel any relief. The pressure gets worse and is suffocating me. I cannot bear this weight anymore. I have no power and no resources. In one of my Lyft rides after work this week, my driver ran a stop sign and we almost got t-boned on my side. I sort of we had, especially since it was on my side. It's been more than ten years since I've had any genuine times of happiness, good times, joy, peace, and feelings of liking life. Something died in me and I can't get it back, just like in the poem of the knight searching for his Eldorado. I have only less than five acquaintances. But they can't fix this and it wouldn't be fair of me to expect them to. They are aware, but don't know everything which is probably just as well. Anyway, none of this matters now. The only thing that matters is how I can escape anymore of this BEFORE the guillotine drops on me. Sometimes, maybe God does test us until we finally fail beyond saving. Who knows what God's "plans" are? Maybe sometimes His plans involve saving others in some way by someone else being sacrificed. The boiler is about to explode and it doesn't look survivable. I've been reading and listening to positive things in print and videos and it just seems like it's all for everyone else but none of it something that will happen for me. I had few true moments and doing things that I enjoyed and that fit me...but like every good thing in my life, they are always short-lived. It's like being teased and being deceptively lead on to believe that "I" could have some lasting joy, happiness, and a fulfilling life. I'm tired of going all in, only to be ambushed and steamrolled. What is happening now, and has been for years now, and exponentially much more extreme these last couple of months now is going to collapse like an avalanche. I want to be gone before that. Like I said, I don't know when - tonight, tomorrow, next week; only what happens will determine when. It seems more and more evident each day. I cannot promise anything. Fate will decide.

We hear the depth of your despair, and our hearts ache with you. The weight you carry is crushing, and the silence you describe is not from God, it is the enemy’s lie to isolate you in your pain. You are not alone, even when it feels that way. The Lord sees you, hears your cries, and holds your tears in His hands (Psalm 56:8). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned.

First, we must address the darkness that whispers of ending your life. Scripture is clear: your life is precious to God, knit together by His hands before you were born (Psalm 139:13-16). To take your life is to reject the purpose He has for you, even when that purpose feels hidden. The enemy wants you to believe you are beyond hope, but God’s Word declares that His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). The same God who parted the Red Sea, fed the thousands, and raised Christ from the dead is still at work today. He is not limited by time, circumstance, or human logic. What feels impossible to you is possible with Him (Matthew 19:26).

Your dream of the elephants and the obstacles is not meaningless. Elephants in Scripture often symbolize strength, wisdom, and God’s provision (Job 40:15-24). The mother and baby reaching for you may represent God’s nurturing love and the help He sends, even when you cannot see it yet. The obstacles you face are indeed too heavy for you alone, but the dream reveals that help is coming. The weights were being moved together, not by your strength alone. This is a promise: you are not meant to carry this burden by yourself. The Lord sends people, resources, and even small miracles when we are at our weakest (2 Corinthians 12:9). The fact that you dreamed of help arriving before you saw it in waking life is evidence of God’s faithfulness.

You mentioned feeling punished for past mistakes. This is a lie from the enemy. God does not punish His children with suffering; He disciplines us in love to draw us closer to Him (Hebrews 12:6). The accuser wants you to focus on your failures, but Christ’s blood has already covered them (1 John 1:9). You are not defined by your past or your present struggles. You are defined by the cross, where Jesus took your shame and gave you His righteousness. When you feel unworthy, remember: He chose you while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8). His love is not earned; it is a gift.

The financial strain, the car, the isolation, these are real battles, but they are not the end of your story. The Lord promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). This does not mean He will always give you what you want, but He will provide what you need to walk in His will. The fact that you are still standing, still praying, still fighting is evidence of His sustaining grace. You are not powerless; you are being held by the One who spoke the universe into existence.

We must also address the bitterness toward your family. Their words and hatred have wounded you deeply, but their validation, or lack of it, does not determine your worth. You are a child of the King, and His opinion is the only one that matters. Forgive them, not because they deserve it, but because unforgiveness is a chain that binds you, not them (Matthew 6:14-15). Release them to God and ask Him to heal the pain they caused.

Now, let us pray for you:

"Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is drowning in despair. Lord, You see the weight they carry, the financial strain, the isolation, the lies of the enemy whispering that they are beyond hope. We rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. You are the God who parts seas, who turns mourning into dancing, who breathes life into dry bones. We ask You to part the waters of this storm and reveal Your provision in ways that cannot be explained by human effort.

Lord, we ask for a supernatural breakthrough in their finances. Provide the means to repair the car or secure safe transportation. Open doors for unexpected help, whether through a job, a gift, or a person You have already positioned to assist. Let them see Your hand moving in tangible ways so their faith is strengthened.

Father, we pray for peace to flood their mind. Silence the accusations of the enemy and replace them with the truth of Your Word. Remind them that they are Your beloved child, chosen and redeemed. Heal the wounds from their past and the pain inflicted by their family. Let them know that their worth is not defined by human approval but by the price You paid for them on the cross.

We ask for divine connections, people who will come alongside them, not just with temporary fixes, but with encouragement, wisdom, and love. Surround them with a community that reflects Your heart. And Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal it gently. Let them experience Your presence in a way that leaves no doubt: You are with them, You are for them, and You will never leave them.

Above all, we pray for a renewed sense of hope. Let them see that this season, as dark as it is, is not the end. You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when they cannot see it yet. Give them the strength to take the next step, even if it is small. And when the pressure feels unbearable, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who conquered death and offers eternal life. Amen."

You are not a failure. You are a warrior in a spiritual battle, and the enemy wants you to forget that. The fact that you are still here, still reaching out, still praying, even when it feels like screaming into the void, is proof that God is not done with you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). That power is not dormant; it is at work, even in your weakness.

We encourage you to reach out to someone today, even if it is just one person. Isolation is the enemy’s tactic, but community is God’s design. Share your struggle with a trusted believer who can pray with you and remind you of God’s promises. If you do not have someone like that, we urge you to contact a biblical counselor or a crisis hotline. You do not have to carry this alone.

And when the darkness whispers that God has abandoned you, remember: Jesus cried out on the cross, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). He understands your despair because He experienced it. But the story did not end there. Three days later, He rose again, and because of that, you have hope. Your story is not over. The God who raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who will raise you from this pit.

Hold on. Help is coming. Light is breaking through. You are loved more than you know.

I’ve exhausted all avenues and now it’s time to face the truth. My case is hopeless. I can’t force an outcome, I’ve done my part and I really can’t do anything else in my own strength. Honestly I haven’t surrendered this situation to the Lord because I am impatient. I know that it’s wrong but...

I'm sorry, but it doesn't work for every Christian. Some are sacrificed for whatever reason. The tiny and weak options I had, disappeared today. This must be God's will. Only prayer left is for my obstructive sleep apnea (O.S.A) to finally take me. I appreciate your prayers but there are some...
