No pain and healing of ribbs (###)

We join with you in lifting up your brother before the throne of grace and we ask for the Lord's healing hand upon his ribs and his whole body after this fall in the cafe bar. We are thankful to hear he is able to walk around, yet we understand the pain in his side is concerning and we bring that pain to the Great Physician who sees and cares for every detail.
We take comfort in what Scripture tells us about our God who heals. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We are reminded that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and that by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. The Lord declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We want to encourage you to ensure your brother receives proper medical care. While we trust fully in the Lord for healing, He often works through physicians and wisdom He has given. Rib injuries, whether a bruise, a crack or a fracture, need to be examined, and an X-ray can help determine the extent of the injury and guide proper care for pain and healing. We pray for wisdom for any doctors or medical staff who see him and for peace as you wait for answers. We also pray for protection against complications such as difficulty breathing and for rest that will allow his body to mend.
We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and we have eternal hope. We encourage you and your brother to put your full trust in Him.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear brother to You. Lord, You know the fall he suffered and the pain he now feels in his ribs. We ask You to touch his side, to ease his pain, to reduce any inflammation and to heal any bone, muscle or tissue that has been injured. We pray that if there is a fracture or partial break, You would mend it completely and quickly. Grant him relief from pain, especially when he breathes, moves and rests, and let him be able to sleep and recover without suffering. Give him and his family peace, strengthen his faith, and let this trial draw him closer to You. Guide the hands of those who may treat him and let Your will be done in his healing. Your request concerning your brother and his painful fall has been heard, and we bring him before the throne of grace with you.
Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each portion may receive injury and hurt. The wounds of the body are extremely painful, and if they amount to a breaking of the frame the torture is singularly exquisite. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How much more should we seek the great Physician Himself, whose power to heal both body and soul is ever present.
We are reminded that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction for the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The very least thing about Christ is healing, and those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We pray now for your brother in his affliction of the ribs. May the Lord in His mercy ease his pain, and grant wisdom to those who examine and care for him. We ask that if there be fracture or bruising, the Lord would kindly knit together what is injured and restore him to soundness, and that He would grant relief from pain so that he may breathe and move and rest with comfort. We pray also that this trial may lead him to look to Christ, in whom alone is salvation, for the Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work our health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.
We encourage you to see that he receives proper care from a physician or surgeon, while together we plead with the heavenly Physician. After you have stated the case to your Lord, then plead with Him, plead His promises and plead His nature, for Calvary is the place for the healing balm.
May the Lord hear our prayer, grant healing according to His perfect will, and comfort you both with the assurance that He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We commend your brother to that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, trusting that whether by sudden mercy or by gradual restoration, the Lord will do what is best for His glory and for your brother's good.
