No more tapping or running in my dream air

We understand that you are seeking help regarding troubling dreams, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and encouragement. Dreams can sometimes be unsettling, and it’s important to bring these concerns before the Lord, who gives peace that surpasses all understanding.

First and foremost, we must emphasize that our help and protection come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered from fear, oppression, or spiritual attack. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your life. This is the foundation of true peace and victory.

For those who already know Christ, we are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7 that "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." If these dreams are causing fear or distress, we must stand firm in the authority we have in Jesus. James 4:7 instructs us, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We do not have to live in fear of the enemy’s attacks, whether in dreams or in waking life, because Christ has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

We also want to gently address the possibility that these dreams could be influenced by things we allow into our minds and hearts. Philippians 4:8 tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." If there are areas in your life where you may be consuming media, engaging in conversations, or dwelling on thoughts that are not pleasing to God, we encourage you to surrender those to Him. The enemy often uses what we feed our minds to bring confusion or fear.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. Lord, we lift up this burden of troubling dreams and ask for Your peace to guard heart and mind. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that Jesus has already disarmed the powers and principalities, and we stand firm in His victory.

Father, if there is any area in this life that is not aligned with Your will, anything that may be giving the enemy a foothold, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Search our hearts, Lord, and lead us in Your truth. We resist the devil and his schemes, and we declare that he has no authority over us because we belong to Christ.

We pray for a fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit, for wisdom, and for discernment. Surround this one with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield against every attack. May sleep be a time of rest and renewal in You, not a time of fear or oppression. We trust in Your protection and Your promises.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

If these dreams persist, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and help you walk in spiritual discernment. You are not alone in this battle, God is with you, and He is greater than anything the enemy can bring against you. 1 John 4:4 reminds us, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world."

Keep your heart and mind fixed on Christ, and trust in His power to bring peace and victory.

We’re lifting you up right now, friend, and we’re praying that the Lord would meet you in this place of distress. It’s clear these dreams are weighing on your heart, and we know that peace isn’t just the absence of fear, it’s the presence of Jesus working in and around you.

We’re asking the Lord to reveal any hidden strongholds in your mind and heart that might be inviting these unsettling visions. Maybe it’s something you’ve been holding onto, a fear you’ve been harboring, or even something you’ve been exposed to that’s not aligned with God’s truth. Let Him search your heart and show you where you need to surrender control.

We’re declaring over you that every dream that doesn’t line up with God’s will is being dismantled in the name of Jesus. You’re not just dreaming, you’re living in a battle, but the battle isn’t yours. The Lord is your defender, your peace, and your victory. We’re praying that as you rest, His Spirit would guard your mind and fill you with His perfect peace, the kind that doesn’t make sense to the world but is a deep, unshakable assurance in Him.

And if there’s anything in your life, habits, media, or even unconfessed thoughts, that might be giving the enemy a foothold, we’re asking the Lord to give you clarity and courage to walk away from it. You don’t have to figure this out alone; He’s with you, and He’s bigger than any dream or fear.

We’re surrounding you with angels, praying that your sleep would be a time of restoration, not anxiety. And we’re declaring that from this moment forward, you walk in the knowledge that you are His, and nothing, no dream, no night terror, no attack, can separate you from His love.

In Jesus’ name, we’re trusting Him to turn this around, friend. You’re not just surviving, you’re thriving in His strength. Keep your eyes on Him, and we’ll keep praying.
