We hear the deep distress and urgency in your request and we join with you in seeking the Lord's protection, peace and deliverance for you, your mother, your three children, your bloodline and your pets. We understand the fear that comes from feeling tormented and attacked in unseen ways, and we want to point you to the true hope and authority we have in Jesus Christ alone.

We want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, as it is written in Ephesians 6:12, and that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control in 2 Timothy 1:7. The enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly, and He has already defeated the powers of darkness at the cross. We do not need to rely on repeated phrases or incantations to be heard, for the Lord hears the sincere cry of a trusting heart. Jesus taught us not to use vain repetitions, but to pray with faith trusting our Father who knows what we need.

We take comfort in the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4, and that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us in James 4:7. The Lord has given His people authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19, and nothing shall by any means hurt us when we abide in Him. He is our refuge and fortress, and we can rest under the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1. He will give His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways in Psalm 91:11.

We also hear your cry for justice and vengeance. Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord in Romans 12:19 and Deuteronomy 32:35, and that we can trust Him to judge righteously and swiftly in His perfect time and way. Our call is not to curse or to seek to control the spiritual realm through our own words, but to trust the Lord to be our defender and to forgive and release the burden of judgment to Him, while we walk in holiness, prayer and the Word of God.

We love that you called upon the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and victory over evil. It is important for us to remember that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12, and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me in John 14:6. The blood of Jesus is not a magic formula but the evidence of His finished sacrifice for our sins, and when we put our faith in Him, repent of our sins and follow Him, we are made new creations and are covered and protected by His grace. If you have not yet fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today, to confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved in Romans 10:9.

We also want to encourage you to put on the whole armor of God daily in Ephesians 6:11, to stay rooted in Scripture, to pray continually, to fellowship with a Bible believing church, and to seek wise pastoral counsel if these fears persist. God cares for all His creation and He sees your love for your family and your pets, and He is faithful to keep those who trust in Him.

We now pray together with you:

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through Him. We ask for Your perfect peace to guard this dear one, her mother, her three children and her household including her pets. We ask that You cover them with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper in Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke every work of darkness, every evil assignment, every spirit of fear, torment and control, and we command it to leave in Jesus name, for You have given us authority in Christ and the enemy must flee when we resist him. We pray that You break every chain and close every door that the enemy has tried to use, and fill this home with Your Holy Spirit, Your light and Your truth. Lord, we release all desire for personal vengeance to You, trusting that You are the righteous Judge who will bring justice in Your perfect way. Help this family to walk in forgiveness, faith and obedience, to be steadfast in Your Word, sober and watchful, resisting the adversary firm in faith in 1 Peter 5:8-9. Let them know that nothing can separate them from Your love in Romans 8:38-39 and that You are their ever present help. We pray for safe deliverance, for quiet rest, for sound minds and for joyful lives lived for Your glory. Teach them to abide in You daily and to trust not in repeated words but in the finished work of Jesus. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

There is heard in your cry a deep longing to be delivered from evil and to see those you love kept safe, and that longing is not wrong, for the soul rightly seeks refuge from the power of darkness. Hear the word of the Lord, for deliverance is of the Lord and not of our much speaking. It is written, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom Himself in the gift of His Son.

You speak of teeth that would tear and of a power that would control and devour, and Scripture does not deny that the enemy shoots arrows and seeks to destroy. Yet the believer's confidence is not in a formula repeated greatly, but in the blood of Jesus Christ shed once for all as the price that satisfies Divine justice. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

It is well also to remember that tribulation does not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace. What comes even through the malice of men or of Satan is still under His sovereign hand, and what He permits He will sanctify for good to those who are His. For this reason we moderate our fear of second causes and look to the First Cause, our Father, who chastens in love and who keeps back the soul from the pit.

Therefore turn from trusting in phrases spoken to bind evil, and trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ who alone is the ransom. If you have not yet done so, confess your sin and your need, believe that He bore the penalty in your stead, and rest in Him alone for salvation. For you and for your mother and your children and your household, the only sure covering is to be found in Him. Vengeance indeed belongs to the Lord, and He will judge righteously in His time, while our calling is to commit ourselves and our loved ones into His gracious hands and to walk in the obedience of faith.

Let us pray together. O Lord God Almighty, who has found a ransom for sinners, be gracious unto this soul and this family. Deliver from going down to the pit, and keep by Thy power from the assaults of the evil one. Wash with the blood of Christ, grant faith in Him alone for salvation, and give peace where there has been torment and fear. Lead into truth, guard the home, and cause this life to declare the works of the Lord, that it may be said, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Teach to look to Jesus only, in whose name is all deliverance, and make Him known as refuge and strength. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we have brought you, your mother, your three children, your wider family and your pets before the Lord with care and urgency. We hear how deeply you long to be free from fear, from any dark power that would tear at you or control you, and how earnestly you want to be safely hidden in Christ and kept far from evil.

The Scripture teaches us that our enemy is real, but that he is a defeated enemy. Jesus Christ by his death and resurrection has disarmed the powers of darkness, and those who belong to him are transferred out of the dominion of darkness into his kingdom. There is no razor, no tooth, no secret curse that is stronger than the blood Jesus shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and for our deliverance. That blood is not a formula to repeat, but the true price he paid to redeem us, and when we trust in him we are covered and kept by God himself. As it is written, submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, and God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind.

You are right to say that vengeance belongs to the Lord. Romans teaches us not to avenge ourselves but to leave room for the justice of God, who sees what is done in secret and will judge with perfect righteousness and swiftness in his own time. Our calling is not to curse those who would harm us, but to entrust ourselves to Christ, to walk in obedience, to renounce every involvement with darkness, and to seek holiness and peace with God.

So we pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, we ask for your mercy and protection over this person, over their mother, over their three children, over their whole household and over the pets entrusted to their care. Cover them with your presence. Break every influence of evil and fear. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Grant them to escape safely and to dwell in secret under the shadow of your wings. Fill their home with your peace, guard their minds and bodies, and teach them to rest in the finished work of Christ. Bind the work of the enemy by your sovereign power and keep this family far from harm, now and forever. Give them assurance that they belong to you through faith in Jesus alone, and lead them daily in your Word and in prayer.

Continue to seek the Lord with a whole heart. Remain in the Scriptures, pray continually, put on the full armor of God described in Ephesians chapter six, gather faithfully with a local church where the Word is preached and where pastors can know you and walk with you, and turn away from any practice or fear that looks to darkness for answers. If fear presses in, speak the truth of the gospel aloud, that Christ is Lord and that you are his. He is faithful to keep those who trust in him.

May the Lord grant you quiet sleep, steady hope, and a firm confidence that you are held in his hand and that nothing can separate you from his love in Christ Jesus.

Your heartfelt cry for protection over yourself, your mother, your three children, your wider family and even your pets has been heard, and I want to answer you with the comfort and truth of Scripture.

The Bible is clear that evil spirits are real. They are intelligent beings, fallen angels who followed Satan in his rebellion against God. When Jesus confronted them, they often cried out loudly as they left the people they had possessed, and Scripture describes how they can go forth to deceive and influence, even influencing those in high places to do inhumane and destructive things that cannot be explained apart from that control. They are powerful to inflict pain and torment, pictured in Revelation as locusts with stings like scorpions, and there is a place of confinement, the abyss, where many of them are held until God's appointed time. They begged Jesus not to send them there before that time, which shows that even they are under His authority and limits.

But Scripture is also clear that their power is limited by God. In the visions of Revelation those demonic creatures were commanded not to harm the grass or the earth in their natural way, but were only allowed to torment those who do not have the seal of God. God makes a separation. He sets a boundary around His own. No one can hide from those spirits by closing a door or hiding in a room, because they are spirit beings, but those who belong to Jesus are marked and kept by Him. That is why the blood of Jesus is so central. He was slain and by His blood He redeemed people for God, and He has made them to be His own. Your safety is not in the force of your own words or in trying to speak things into existence, but in belonging to Him and resting in what He has already done.

You rightly said vengeance belongs to the Lord. That is exactly what Scripture teaches. God will bring swift and just judgment in His time. The same spirits that now deceive the nations will one day gather kings to make war against Christ at His return, and they will fail, because Jesus will come suddenly, as a thief, and will judge both those demonic powers in high places and the rulers who followed them. Until then we are called to watch and to keep our garments, which means to remain clothed in the righteousness Christ gives us, walking closely with Him, staying in His Word and in prayer, and not walking in shame or fear.

So I am praying for you in the name of Jesus, trusting His blood alone for your covering. I ask the Lord to place His hand of protection over you, your mother, your children and your household, including your pets, and to give you peace in place of fear. I ask Him to break every assignment of darkness against you and to keep you from any form of control or torment, and to help you leave all judgment in His hands, knowing He sees what has been done in secret and will repay with perfect justice. May He help you to keep your eyes on Christ your Redeemer, who as our kinsman has paid the price to buy us back and keep us in His family forever, and may you know deeply that if you are sealed in Him, no evil can claim you.

Continue to bring every fear to Jesus in simple, trusting prayer, stay rooted in Scripture, and walk in fellowship with other believers who can support you and pray with you. The Lord who has redeemed you is faithful to keep you.
