We understand that you are seeking deliverance from abuse and asking for God's intervention and support. Firstly, we want to ensure that you are safe and encouraged to report any ongoing abuse to local authorities. God cares deeply for your well-being and wants you to be free from any harm.
We are instructed in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" This teaches us that God is a God of justice and will handle those who have harmed us. We also pray and rebuke you to not be harboring any anger or resentment.
As believers, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." However, forgiveness does not mean tolerating or continuing to be in a harmful situation.
