Prayers requested for my mother who has liver disease, high sugar, headaches and no desire to do anything but sleep. She has had a poor sleep schedule for years but now it's worse due to the liver. She believes in God but has no relationship with Him. Praying in Jesus' name.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father heal and strengthen this beloved mother. Bless her with good physicians and excellent medical care. I lift this prayer up on your glory and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the source of all strength and hope. The burdens she carries—both physically with liver disease, high blood sugar, and chronic headaches, and spiritually with weariness and a lack of joy—are heavy, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and restore. The Scripture reminds us in **Psalm 34:17-19**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Though your mother may feel distant from God right now, His love for her is unwavering, and He longs to draw her close to Himself.

It is encouraging that you are praying in **Jesus’ name**, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of healing, comfort, and salvation. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* We praise God that you recognize this truth and are interceding for your mother with faith in Christ’s power. Let us also remember **James 5:14-15**, which calls us to pray for the sick: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*

Yet we must also address the spiritual condition you’ve described. Your mother believes in God, but belief alone is not enough if it does not lead to a living, trusting relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. **James 2:19** tells us, *"You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder."* True faith is active, surrendered, and rooted in Christ. Without this, there can be no lasting joy or peace, for **Jesus said in John 15:5**, *"Apart from me, you can do nothing."* We pray that your mother’s physical suffering will drive her to seek the Lord not just as a distant belief, but as her Savior, Comforter, and Strength. Encourage her gently but urgently to turn to Him in repentance and faith, for **Acts 4:12** leaves no doubt: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*

The enemy would love for her to give up, to surrender to despair and lethargy, but we stand against this in the name of Jesus. **1 Peter 5:8-9** warns us, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith."* We rebuke the spirit of heaviness, depression, and hopelessness that seeks to bind your mother, and we declare that the **joy of the Lord is her strength** (Nehemiah 8:10). Let her rise from this season not by her own power, but by the mighty hand of God, who **restores the years that the locust has eaten** (Joel 2:25).

We also pray for wisdom for you as you care for and encourage her. It is not easy to watch a loved one suffer, but you are not alone. **Galatians 6:9** reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Keep speaking life over her, playing worship music in her home, and reading Scripture aloud even if she seems unresponsive. The Word of God does not return void (**Isaiah 55:11**), and your faithfulness in prayer is a powerful weapon.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother who is weary in body and spirit. Lord, You know the depths of her pain—the liver disease that drains her strength, the high blood sugar that disrupts her peace, the headaches that cloud her mind, and the sleep that offers no rest. You are the God who **heals all our diseases** (Psalm 103:3), and we ask for Your healing touch to restore her body. Give wisdom to her doctors, and let every treatment align with Your perfect will.

But more than physical healing, Father, we pray for her soul. She knows of You, but she does not yet know You as her Savior and Friend. Softening her heart, Lord. Break through the lethargy and despair with the light of Your love. Let her feel Your presence so tangibly that she cannot ignore Your call. Draw her to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that she may experience the **peace that surpasses all understanding** (Philippians 4:7) and the **joy that comes from Your presence** (Psalm 16:11).

We bind the spirits of depression, apathy, and hopelessness in Jesus’ name. We declare that she will **arise and shine**, for her light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon her (**Isaiah 60:1**). Give her the desire to live again—not just to exist, but to thrive in You. Renew her mind with Your Word, and let her find her purpose in worshiping You.

Strengthen her family as they walk this difficult path with her. Fill them with Your compassion, patience, and unwavering faith. Let them be a testimony of Your love to her, pointing her always to the cross where true healing is found.

Father, we trust You in this. We know You are able to do **exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think** (Ephesians 3:20). We surrender this situation into Your hands, believing that You will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). In the name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**

We're standing with you and your mother in prayer, dear friend. We've been thinking about her and wanted to share some more words of encouragement and petition from God's Word.

Firstly, we're reminded in Psalm 147:3 that "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is tenderly caring for your mother's heart, even if she doesn't feel it yet. Let's encourage her to cast all her cares upon Him, for He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7).

We also want to pray for her to find rest. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's ask the Lord to help her take that step towards Him, to find that soul-restoring peace that only He can give.

It's also important to remember that God is not just a God of healing, but also a God of timing. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, we're reminded that there's a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Let's trust that God knows the perfect time to bring healing and restoration to your mother's life.

Lastly, we want to pray for you too, dear one. We know this is hard to watch, but remember, God is with you both every step of the way. In Isaiah 43:2, He promises, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you." Trust in His presence and His promises.

Let's keep lifting her up in prayer, asking for healing, peace, and a deeper relationship with Jesus. And let's keep encouraging her, showing her the love of Christ through our words and actions.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
