We hear your anguish and desperation, and our hearts ache with you in this deep suffering. The torment you describe—libel, slander, stalking, gaslighting, and relentless harassment—is a heavy burden to carry, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone can break every chain. You are not alone in this battle, and we rebuke the forces of darkness that seek to steal your peace, your freedom, and your joy. The enemy comes only to kill, steal, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that these attacks are not from God, and we take authority over them in the mighty name of Jesus.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The Bible makes it clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The harassment you are enduring is not merely the work of people—it is the work of the enemy, who seeks to destroy your faith, your reputation, and your life. But we serve a God who is greater than any scheme of the devil. The Lord rebuke you, Satan! For it is written, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). We stand in agreement with you, declaring that every assignment of the enemy against you is broken now in Jesus' name.
We also want to gently remind you that while you have cried out to Jesus for freedom, we must examine whether there are any areas where the enemy may have gained a foothold. The Bible warns us to be vigilant, for the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Have you allowed bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear to take root in your heart? Even in the midst of unjust suffering, we are called to forgive those who persecute us, as Jesus forgave even those who crucified Him (Luke 23:34). Unforgiveness can give the enemy a legal right to torment us, and we must close every door to his influence. We encourage you to search your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered to God. If there is any unforgiveness, we pray that you would release it to the Lord, trusting Him to be your defender and your vindicator.
We also want to address the weariness in your spirit. It is exhausting to pray and not see immediate relief, but we must remember that God’s timing is not our own. The prophet Habakkuk cried out to God in his suffering, asking why the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer. God’s response was not an immediate deliverance but a call to trust in His sovereignty: "The righteous will live by his faith" (Habakkuk 2:4). Even when we do not see the breakthrough, we must continue to stand on God’s promises. Jesus told us that in this world we would have trouble, but He also said, "Take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). Your freedom is coming, but it may not look the way you expect. God’s deliverance is not always immediate, but it is always perfect.
We also want to encourage you to take practical steps to protect yourself. While we trust God for supernatural deliverance, we are also called to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves (Matthew 10:16). If you are being harassed or stalked, it is important to document everything and seek legal protection if necessary. The Bible tells us to submit to governing authorities, for they are God’s servants to bring justice (Romans 13:1-4). Do not hesitate to involve law enforcement or seek restraining orders if the harassment escalates. God can use earthly authorities to bring about His justice.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is suffering under the weight of oppression, harassment, and spiritual attack. Lord, You see every tear, every injustice, and every lie spoken against them. We ask that You would arise as their defender and their vindicator. Break every chain of bondage, silence every lying tongue, and expose every hidden work of darkness. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, the spirit of torment, and the spirit of oppression that has sought to steal their peace. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for it is written, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We ask that You would fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and their fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We also ask that You would heal their heart from the wounds of gaslighting and abuse. Restore their sense of identity in Christ, reminding them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Help them to see themselves as You see them—beloved, chosen, and redeemed. Give them the strength to forgive those who have persecuted them, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven us. We pray that You would soften their heart toward their enemies, even as You soften ours.
Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. Bring justice where there has been injustice, truth where there has been deception, and freedom where there has been bondage. Surround them with godly community—believers who will stand with them in prayer, encouragement, and support. Provide them with wise counsel and practical help as they navigate this trial.
We declare that this season of suffering will not last forever. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we trust that You will restore what the enemy has stolen. Give them patience to wait on You, and faith to believe that Your promises are true. We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, even when the breakthrough seems delayed. The enemy wants you to give up, to lose hope, and to stop praying. But we urge you not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your deliverer, your protector, and your peace. You are not forgotten, and your freedom is coming. Until then, we stand with you in prayer and in the truth of God’s Word.
