No diarrhea, pain, swelling....

We hear your request for relief from diarrhea, stomach nervousness, pain, swelling, inflammation and unease throughout your body and we join together with you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father for His healing touch and peace upon you.

We know how distressing and wearying these physical symptoms can be, and how they can affect both body and spirit. We take comfort that God sees your discomfort and cares deeply for you. We are reminded of His compassion as our healer, for it is written Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And again Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit as it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and God desires for us to be in health even as our soul prospers as in 3 John 1:2.

We also understand the stomach nervousness and unease you describe, which often comes from anxiety and worry. Scripture encourages us to bring all our cares to Him, for He cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7 and Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon their body. Lord, calm their stomach, stop the diarrhea, ease all pain, swelling and inflammation, and remove every source of unease. Restore balance and health to their digestive system and to every part of their body. Grant them peace that surpasses understanding, quiet their nervousness and fill them with Your comfort and rest. We ask that You guide them in wisdom to steward their body well, including seeking medical care if these symptoms continue, and that You grant wisdom to any who care for them. We pray for complete restoration according to Your will, trusting that You are our refuge and strength. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord for your health and to cast all your anxiety upon Him, for He sustains you. As it says in Isaiah 41:10 Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord as in Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him we can come boldly to the Father with every need, including healing for our bodies.

We are standing with you in prayer, asking God to grant you relief, health and His perfect peace.

Thank you for letting us know what you are carrying. Wanting to be free from diarrhea, stomach nervousness, pain, swelling and that overall sense of unease makes sense, living with those sensations is wearing and can make it hard to rest or focus.

We are holding you in prayer and asking God to bring you comfort and steadiness in your body, and wisdom as you seek care. If you are still experiencing these symptoms, or they come and go, we encourage you to reach out to your primary care provider or clinic alongside prayer, so they can listen, check things over and guide you well. It can help to let someone close to you know how you are feeling too, so you are not carrying this alone.

We know it can be discouraging to wait for answers, and we want you to know you are not forgotten. We will keep praying for calm, comfort and clear next steps for you.

Father, we bring our friend to You right now. You know the discomfort and unease they feel and how much they long for relief. Please grant them Your peace, ease their body, and give wisdom to any clinicians caring for them. Lead them to the right help and sustain them day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your petition concerning the distress of the body has been heard, and we bring it before the great Physician who has healing in His wings.

You have asked for deliverance from diarrhea and from all nervosity of the stomach, and from pain and swelling and inflammation and unease in every part. We do not despise such troubles, for bodily diseases are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they rightly urge us to seek healing. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon you and give you rest from this affliction. May He calm the inward turmoil, quiet the stomach, remove all inflammation and swelling, take away pain and unease, and restore soundness and peace to your frame. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm.

We pray also that as you seek bodily relief you would know the deeper healing which comes with pardon, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and may the contact of faith with Christ, who took our infirmities, make your nature whole.

We entreat the Lord to grant you relief according to His perfect wisdom, to give skill to any means used for your help, and above all to keep your heart stayed upon Him in this trial. May you prove that Jesus is still able to heal, and that He is still engaged in healing those who look to Him.

We join our faith with yours and ask these mercies in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for relief from diarrhea, stomach nervousness, pain, swelling, inflammation and general unease in your body has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord who made both soul and body and who cares for both.

We know from Scripture that even faithful servants of God knew bodily weakness. Paul writes to Timothy, who suffered from frequent infirmities of the stomach, to use a little wine for his stomach's sake, showing that it is right and not unspiritual to use the ordinary helps God has provided, including wise medical care, food and drink taken with moderation and thankfulness. The fact that Timothy, a man through whom God worked miracles, still needed such care reminds us that we should not be troubled or think God has forgotten us when infirmity continues for a time. God is able to heal in a moment, as Christ healed the paralytic, yet in His wisdom He sometimes allows weakness to remain for a season to keep us humble, to teach us dependence and to remind us that we are of the same nature as all others who suffer.

Christ comes to us as a physician who does not stand far off from our sickness but draws near to heal. So we can come to Him with confidence, asking for mercy for the body while also asking Him to strengthen and cleanse the soul, for He once said to the man He had made whole, sin no more lest something worse come upon you. This is not to say that every stomach trouble comes from a particular sin, but it is always good when we are afflicted to examine our hearts, to confess our sins, to turn more fully to Jesus Christ through whom alone we have salvation and peace with God, and to ask for a deeper work of His grace within us.

Therefore I pray for you now, and I encourage you to keep praying and also to seek sound medical counsel if you have not already done so, using the means God provides with thankfulness and without excess.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this Your servant who is troubled by distress in the stomach and bowels and by pain and swelling and unease. You know the body You formed and You see the discomfort and anxiety it brings. I ask You to calm the stomach, to stop the diarrhea, to remove swelling and inflammation and all pain, and to grant quietness and strength to the whole body. Grant wisdom to any physicians or helpers, and guide in the use of food, drink and treatment that may bring health. Above all, grant peace of heart, freedom from anxious thoughts, and a steady trust in Your goodness, knowing that whether You remove the infirmity at once or sustain through it, You are working for good. Keep this dear one close to Christ, forgive sins, increase faith and hope, and lead into full health according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Continue to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and trust His fatherly wisdom to do what is best.

Your request for relief from diarrhea, stomach distress, nervousness in the stomach, and from pain, swelling and inflammation throughout your body has been heard, and I am praying for you.

Jesus showed His heart for people suffering in their bodies. He cleansed a man with leprosy, He healed the servant of a centurion with only a word, He lifted the fever from Peter's mother in law, and when crowds came with many kinds of sickness and oppression He had compassion on them. Matthew connects this to what Isaiah foretold, that the Messiah would bear our infirmities and carry our sicknesses. That promise points to the Lord's power in the physical realm as well as His authority over the spiritual realm, and His willingness to carry the burdens that weigh on our bodies.

At the same time Scripture shows that healing comes in different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly, sometimes the healing was gradual, sometimes He touched a person, sometimes He only spoke, sometimes He was present and sometimes He healed from a distance. There is no single pattern that limits Him. And any true healing is from God, even when it comes through the slow and natural processes He built into our bodies. He created our bodies and the processes that restore them, so even a gradual recovery is divine. He also brings healing to our minds and emotions, calming deep inner distress and bringing peace where there has been anxiety and pain.

I do not fully understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. Scripture itself shows this mystery. Paul prayed for Timothy, who was a faithful companion and suffered often with stomach problems, yet Timothy remained with that weakness and Paul encouraged him to take practical care for his condition. That was not because of a lack of faith or because of hidden sin. Good people still suffer sickness in this fallen world. Since sin entered the world our bodies are subject to weakness and pain, and as Paul says we groan within these bodies longing for full deliverance. When God does not bring immediate healing, it is not a sign He does not care, but that His purposes are beyond what we can see, and His compassion remains.

The Bible even speaks of the stomach as the place where we feel our deepest emotions, using phrases like bowels of mercy to describe gut level compassion. God understands that kind of deep, inward unease and nervousness, and His compassion reaches to that place as well as to visible swelling and pain.

So I am asking the Lord to touch your body with His mercy. I pray He will calm your stomach, bring an end to the diarrhea and nervousness, remove pain and swelling and inflammation, and ease every place of unease. I ask Him to give you peace in body and mind, to guide any care you receive, and to restore you in the way and time that serves His loving purpose for you. Whether He lifts this quickly or brings steady, gradual improvement, may you sense His presence carrying this burden with you and trust that He who bore our sicknesses is able and near.
