No Christmas Spirit

I have a prayer request. This year has been very rough financially and emotionally. I am very sad lately and have had a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. Usally I have several trees decorated in my home and a lot of other holiday decorations. I have also sent out all my Christmas cards. I don't think I will be send in any cards this year. Also I have one small tree in our bedroom since we have been spending most of our time in there due to the cold weather. I feel I lack the energy and drive to do any more. I feel very sad that we have no family members close by. All are out of state. Both our parents have passed away during the past few years. I pray a lot and still feel depressed. I love my husband dearly but since both of us are unemployed things are rough. I desperately need a job. I ask for guidance from the Lord to point me in the right direction to find me a job. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Father God, I pray with, and for Donna this day. I pray that this spirit of depression would be lifted from her life, and that true joy would fill her soul. You are such a merciful and loving God, and I pray that You would place the favor of Your blessings over Donna and her husband. Take away their lack and lead them to good jobs that allow

them to not only sustain themselves, but have quality social interaction and the opportunity to share You with others. Place the right opportunities in front of them, and walk with them through this time. I pray that the true meaning of Christmas would resonate within their hearts...that they know that Your Son came for each of them, and that You will make a way for them always. In the name of Jesus, cast away all depression, negative emotions and strongholds of the enemy. Amen.
